Born just before his home planet exploded Spacey has had a mixed childhood. Many friends, enemies, events, and realizations shaped this hero into who he is today. Some of the most important include meeting Arcade Machine, meeting his friend group at school, finding out about his past, and finding out his powers.
His electric powers came from an accident when he was 2, Spacey was playing with a metal fork after his delicious spaghetti meal when he accidentally shoved the fork into an electrical outlet. Instead of killing him, he got charged with electric powers, it changed him a lot since he can now eat batteries and can charge up his powers now even if it did take some time to get used to. It also unlocked many new electric abilities as well.
For the cosmic powers, they came during one peaceful night when he was 15 walking around until a small meteor hit him, and it left him dazed for 30 minutes until he woke up with new cosmic powers, he was able to throw cosmic balls and make portals alongside limited space manipulation powers that he couldn't control well. So far the effect and the potential of these abilities are unknown.
DevelopmentSpacey was a character that I wanted to make for a long time but I didn't know how to execute. His earliest incarnations were self-inserts of me. Often being almost exact in terms of my personality. As time went on though they became more distinct from me. In 2019 I found his personality but his name and design were mysterious to me. Cut to slightly later and his name was figured out to be Spacey after I wanted to show him being one with space and it fits well. In 2020 I did stuff for the design, I was playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 on PC and I was making a custom skater and it was the OG design for Spacey. It was mostly the same but some color changes were made soon after to look better. After making the THPS3 skater Spacey was drawn and that was how his character came to be.
Trivia _- Spacey's THPS 3 design differed quite a bit from the current design.
