  DESCRIPTION   

The Serendipitous is a Slugcat not bound by Karma, but instead, a completely different system known as Luck. Luck is random every Cycle, and even on retrying a Cycle again, Luck may change. When The Serendipitous is at High Luck, she is more powerful, and hostile creatures do not appear as prevalently. In Low Luck, she is weaker and there is more danger. The current Luck also brightens and darkens her markings, with Max Luck turning them a soft blue, and No Luck turning them a deep gray and black. Luck is generally random, but will lower if successful Cycles are common, and will rise if successful Cycles are rare. She is also unable to utilize anything relating to Karma (Karma Flowers, Echoes, Karma Gates, etc.), and must find her way around without utilizing any of them. As Karma gates do not work for her, she must find clever ways around them, leading to her being able to find more ways between regions than a normal Slugcat.

  PERSONALITY   

The Serendipitous is a humble Slugcat, who generally tries to stay away from violence and strife. She feels awkward around others of her species, but does try her best to socialize if possible. Despite the fact that she is not very close to anyone right now, she is extremely concerned that her quirks and her disconnectedness from the Karmatic Cycle will drive others away from her. Alone, she is highly curious, and will never back away from something that she thinks is interesting! She especially likes finding new regions using her region-hopping powers-- and is always a bit upset when they are not where she is looking for.

  HISTORY   

The Serendipitous was the second of The Seamstress's four children. Due to several unprecedented life events, The Serendipitous was stripped away from her family and cast into a world unfamiliar to her. Her last memory of any family member was watching her sister, The Oracle, falling into a deep pit created by the destruction. Now, she searches for her family and her old home anywhere she can-- and, perhaps, will run into family she never even knew she had.
