You can find the Chowling commonly known as Peel around beaches and tropical islands, trailing behind the rest of the people in his tour group and snapping photos of everything. He's a cheerful, bumbling tourist who's appeared in the backgrounds of many vacation photo albums, and so what if he only visits places that have a reputation for lost treasure? If a shipwreck or two is plundered or if an ancient treasure chest dug up, surely that's just a coincidence.
When he's not pretending to be a stupid tourist, Cavendish is a treasure hunter and thief who sails past coasts and through archipelagos in his houseboat, in which he also hides his stash of treasure. He's a roguish fellow who is highly skilled at his craft: sniffing out and stealing gold, gemstones, and other valuable items.
Personality-wise, Cavendish is confident and quick-thinking, and could be colloquially described as a Bastard. He's a little impulsive, despite his best efforts, and while he's good at putting on a friendly persona, in reality there are very few people he's truly close to. Easily bored and enjoys a quick thrill, or causing minor chaos, Cavendish hunts for treasure less out of necessity and more because he just likes having something to do.

Cavendish is a skilled and practiced thief who specializes in breaking into places (ruins, tombs, the occasional museum) and sneaking out without much fuss.
Swimming
Cavendish is a strong swimmer and is used to both swimming and diving in the open ocean. Often seen diving near shipwrecks, searching for treasure.
Fighting
Cavendish isn't the buffest or most physically strong fighter, but he's tough and is great at utilizing everything in his environment during a fight. Think Jackie Chan in a hardware store.

Cavendish is a bit on the small side for a Chowling. He's not exactly scrawny, but pretty lean, and also pretty in-shape thanks to all the running, climbing, and swimming he does as part of the whole treasure hunter gg. In his Peel persona, he always wears a well-meaning, disarming smile. His true expressions are a little sharper and his smile is a little more self-satisfied, with a hint of "gotcha!"
