AYYYY MINE NOW BABY!
Happy and carefree and kinda dumb, but he loves it that way just fine! He's a hopelessly optimistic lad who loves everyone and everything he comes across, and he thinks strangers and enemies are just friends he hasn't made yet! Grove sees the best in everyone, especially when he shouldn't, and can always be seen with a wistfully happy smile on his face. He also adores the exotic flowers that grow near the shores and makes flower crowns and other bits and pieces when they fall onto the water's surface! The elevator music constantly going on in that wonderfully empty brain of his probably sounds a lot like La Da Dee
Has a human disguise he's woefully unprepared for using. When he gets nervous he forgets how to walk and just flops onto the ground

Not all things that glitter are gold - sometimes they're beautiful, sparkling pearls.
And it's exactly pearls that this mermaid prefers.
They spend their days tending to the clam farm surrounding their home grotto.
Speaking and singing to the clams in dulcet tones. In return for the beautiful performances
the clams happily give up their pearls, and the pearl hunter just as happily takes them
either to decorate their home, themselves, or to trade with other passing mer-folk.
Despite the name, it's apparent this mermaid isn't much of a "hunter" at all.
But it sounds more intense and exciting, just like those treasure hunters
they sometimes see swimming around the ship wrecks their parents had
strictly told them to stay away from.
But is making contact with human treasure hunters
really such a horrible idea?
