She was born as an only child to a pretty wealthy family (from Morocco, they moved to France) who immigrated to America when she was only 2. She spent a lot of time with her best friend who ended up dying in a house fire at the age of 16 (the first thing that lead to her becoming a firefighter). In high school she dated Ethel Leroux but broke up after Ethel met Triage. When she was only 18, her parents were immediately killed when a drunk driver hit them head-on while they were driving to Las Vegas (the other thing that lead to her becoming a firefighter). She is currently dating Nora Eriksen, whom she met through Lawrence (he works with Nora and they're close friends).
She is a part of the First Responder Crew (other members are Lawrence, Nora, and Celestyna) and the Wealthy Crew (other members are Ethel and Francine).
