Victa Odd is the twelfth and final life of the Librix's first Chaos Phase, showing an acute self-awareness seen in no life prior. In a highly unusual level of awareness for a Librix life, Victa was struck with the realization of her regenerating nature almost as soon as she formed. The knowledge that she is essentially just a single stage in the life of something much larger leads to a lot of both the best and worst aspects of her life and personality. Victa spends quite a lot of her time cavorting about around relay planets, particularly Earth, exploring and getting up to all kinds of reckless shenanigans with (seemingly) little concern for her own well-being.

On the surface, Victa is cheerful, upbeat, and playful; a jolly sort who just loves to have fun. She doesn't have much against anyone in particular, and really just wants to enjoy herself. One who watches her go about her day, though, might quickly notice that she seems dangerously reckless and willing to put herself into very risky situations just for the sake of curiosity or fun. In truth, Victa struggles to grapple with the fact that she, as a life of a regenerating being, is little more than a blip on the greater timeline of the Librix's life. Finding it difficult to believe that much of what she does actually matters, she seems to do what she does just for the thrill of it, a (very unhealthy) coping mechanism to try and take her mind off the existential dread. Plus, if what she does ends up getting her killed, maybe it'll sate her curiosity about what she'll become next.

She hates the idea of hurting anyone else in her reckless antics, and particularly avoids physical contact with the Balancers, out of an underlying anxiety that someone's gonna get hurt, and she doesn't want it to be them.

xWl8soK.pngTRIVIA

  • Her voice is always slightly low-quality and grainy-sounding, like it's playing through an old-timey radio. No one knows why.
  • She can move in a lot of unnatural and highly cartoony ways, bending her limbs like they're rubber hoses or bouncing harmlessly back from injury. Her body reflexively bounces back under blunt force, which she doesn't even notice, but it reacts realistically to cuts. She can move her body under normal human constraits if she needs to, going more "noodly" when she thinks it's funny.
