"Go places!"

Personality

Q is an adventurous young dog who waits for nothing and no one. He wants to explore every mysterious twist and turn of the Rocoban islands, and though he enjoys showing others the wonders of the islands while working as a tour guide, he's most at home when he's zipping through the jungles at lightning speed, always looking for the next new thing to explore. Q has a hyperactive personality, and he gets rather fidgety if he has to stand around and wait. Even when he's exhausted after a long day of exploring, he's only itching to be able to have the strength to do it all again. Others consider him somewhat brash and impulsive, as he doesn't mind throwing himself into even the most dangerous parts of the islands, but the thrill of it all is worth it in the end.

Background

While Q has always been a hyperactive ball of energy, what surprises most people is that he was never always the colorful explorer he is now. Q used to be an airport security police dog with quite an average, Australian shephard pelt. Though he was normally known for being a very obedient, no-nonsese type of dog, he began to act restless. It started out as dreams of chasing something, then sleepwalking, then beginning to run away from his handler, until one day when he felt the overwhelming inability to ignore a feeling within him to run away while on duty. Though he didn't initially know why he was running, he eventually found himself following a suitcase onto a plane, and as soon as he opened it, his fur erupted into a beautiful array of color and pattern. Yet almost as soon as he had discovered the mysterious suitcase, he was separated from it once more when he was discovered in the cargo hold of the plane and though his original owner was contacted, they didn't believe that he was the same dog due to his new appearance, leaving Q stuck with new owners until someone could find a better home for him. Still, Q was restless, still feeling the pull of the suitcase, and he escaped once again, hopping from plane to plane all around the world until he found his way to Rocabo and was once again reunited with the suitcase. Upon opening it, he found there was nothing inside, rather Q felt pulled to the luggage tag, that simply read "Go Places." Though the suitcase itself is still a mystery, Q's pursuit of it granted him a power called "Sense of Adventure," an ability to sense what is slightly ahead of him, which helps him avoid danger, but also spurs on his newly aquired adventurous nature, as he always wants to fully see what he senses up ahead. Though his journey was now complete, he still felt connected to the islands and decided to live out the rest of his life exploring it, becoming a tour guide and even occasionally aiding in the rescue of people who have gotten themselves into dangerous situations.

Q wears the "Go Places" luggage tag on his collar, along with other tags he finds interesting. He hopes to aquire tags for every place he visits
