What have I done and why do I continue to do it?????????

"That movie? Have you read the book before watching it? I haven't, nor have I  seen the film... So what's your name?"

**Personality:**
Decent is the last word Cillian would use to describe himself, as he hadn't been that way since getting involved with his family's work. He often tries too hard to be a good guy, and when something good comes out of it, he feels better about himself. Feeding off others' happiness or states of joy or content is painted all over his current agenda. In this case, he can even be found looking for any opportunity to either prove himself to be a fun, cool guy, or make someone's day somehow. He has his sad spells after certain confrontations, but tries to keep upbeat in general.

**Likes:** Birds (namely blue budgerigars,) socializing, car rides/aimlessly driving around, "borrowing" library video tapes that mainly center around nature/ animals, and binge watching them until morning, animated movies, almost everyone under the sun, rap music (much speak, very fast)

**Dislikes:** Most acidic/vinegar-filled foods, not actually working in his family's paper store (he was looking forward to that, and sometimes asks about it,) encountering workmates outside of work, baggy clothes, his younger sibling, Toy Story movies (gets him emotional)

**Bio/Backstory:**
Growing up as the middle child of a group of three siblings, Cillian would simply appear to be just there to most members of his family. No expectations had really been placed upon him, as those were tossed towards the overachieving goody-goody older sibling and the needy nuisance of a younger sibling. Strange as it was, he had been fine with this, as all that was on his agenda had been hanging with friends and attending to his treasured pet bird, a budgerigar parakeet. As long as he stayed out of trouble and kept a decent reputation, he was allowed to do so.

His life had been pretty much the same, it turned into a routine he had become used to until a big blow-out happened between his parents and his older sibling. He intended to ignore it all until that sibling ended up packing up and moving out the very next day. From that point on, he noticed his parents attempting to get closer to him. They started paying him the attention that was long overdue, and even bothered to stick themselves into his personal life. As it turns out, those expectations that he had missed out on years ago had just begun to swing by.

With his older sibling considered out of the picture and his younger sibling too irresponsible to take on the ideas thrown at them, Cillian's parents ended up convincing him to be part of their ever-running business. Until he was considered "of age," he thought what he was in for would be stocking materials for the family's cheesy paper store, or even working the front desk for the place. Those thoughts took a turn when revealed he would be supporting the family's escort services instead.

It took a few weeks to register, but by the end of that time, he was able to help out every now and then as asked of him, with no problem at all. Cillian turned out to work an easy part-time job for the sake of interacting with decent people. He didn't need to find a job, as what he did with his family paid him more than what he thought to be enough.

**Additional:**

  • The family business's cover-up is their paper store.
  • At work, he is used as the occasional back-up chauffeur and also has the job of picking up rogue-gone employees and shaping them up again by using either intimidation or violence. It tends to be the latter.
  • He'd never beat on someone while inside his car, that would ruin the magic of his independent joy rides.
  • Has a ton of air fresheners in his car, both in use and stored away in the glove box. The amount is rather unusual.
  • His family is actually using him to piss off his older sibling, but it isn't working. It also explains why he doesn't do anything too important for them either. After all, he's still their average middle kid.
  • His part-time job is what he considers to be play. He works as a page within a library.
  • He does a lot more chatting with strangers in the library than actually work. The place is pretty small, so he gets away with interacting with the library-goers.
  • He is on his third blue budgie bird after having to give his first one away, and after his younger sibling ended up killing the second.
  • His apartment is practically a fun house for his bird. Small toys, ropes, and ledges are placed here and there.
  • His love for his bird is the reason why he chooses to wear so much blue at times, though his favorite color is slate grey.
  • Mainly wears dark eyeshadows and liner to distract from his dark undereyes.
