Backstory

Orbei was born in a small village at the foot of one the mountains deep in Weaver territory. High up on the side of the mountain was a small Weaver temple, the Temple of the Verdant Wyld, buried in trees and vines and bursting with life. When Orbei was about five years old, a hunting party of Shooters attacked the village; the monks of the temple responded, but weren't able to prevent the deaths of the young child's parents. The Master of the Temple, Baiyou Mochizuki, decided to take the young Weaver in and train them. They grew up happy in the temple, enjoying the variety of training and chores, though known to slack off in schooling. But after turning 25, Orbei's Master informed them that they needed to leave - for without experience in the world they could never truly master themselves, or become Master of the temple as Baiyou's successor.

And so Orbei went traveling, joining up with some caravans or merchants, sometimes wandering alone. They stayed away from Shooter territory, but otherwise began to wander the wide wide world of Jo'Arca.
