Valentine is a protection "deity" that senses potential for great deeds and will swear his loyalty to one person, imbuing them with the same magic that grants himself immortality. This person, his promised, is the only person that can kill Valentine. Currently, Val has promised himself to the crime lord and visionary Po. His job originally was just to guard the man and do basic missions but as a proud person is ought to do he became tired of this position and demanded respect and attention through his actions. The work the two did caused more than just mutual respect to grow and the two eventually started dating.
Now, Val is the head guard and husband to Po and does his job with unwavering loyalty and a disturbing amount of zealotry.
