Personality

Lütz is a distant and seemingly cold man, partly from him being alone alot in his life, partly as he isn’t fond of people. Now Lütz is by all means not a rude person, quite polite actually, he is well established with the importance of keeping once appearance.
The fact that he doesn’t want to talk with YOU has nothing to do with being shy, if anything you’re just not important enough.
For prey… He has been known for cruelty.. Well he would have, if anyone would have lived to tell the tale.

Trivia

  • Loves fancy soaps and long baths
  • It’s not that he’s shy, he’a just not a people person
  • Depressed (but used to it)
  • Plays the piano, cello and violin
  • Does not like loud people (Teddy is ok)
  • 70’s were good, not that he remembers them he wasn’t quite.. clear minded at the time
  • Blood isn’t just food it’s an obsession
  • Cold and distant to anyone but his friends.. jk he’s the same towards them
  • He got dimples when he…. If he smiles.
  • Assertive Architect (INTJ-A) Lütz is 79% introverted,  90% thinking and 10% feeling, 83% assertive.
History

Lütz H. Größel was born durring the cold winter of 1865, born almost a whole month to early he was very small and weak.
This being the mid 1800’s noone thought he would make it through the first night.
But to his family’s delight he made it through. That did however not give any kind of security as 12-13% of all children died within the first year of their lives.

And little Lütz..? He was constantly dancing with death.

This weakness followed through all of his human life, he often got sick and were often staying in his room. Aside from the disapointed relatives as he failed to be the strong ”breadwinger” men needed to be at this time.. His mother had grown distant of him, not wanting to be to attached as he constantly seemed to be on the verge of death. Miraculously Lütz never did die, something within him didn’t want to let go just yet.

Lütz human life wasn’t all bad, he had a devotes older brother named Grimwald, aside from his older brother being the pride of the family, following in the fathers footstep to become a doctor, he always took time for his sibblings.
Then there was Siofna, the youngest of them, a true beauty she was, a bit demanding at times but that laughter would make all her actions forgiveable.
While she still lived at home she would often come into Lütz room and have him read for her.
Yes he had indeed loved them dearly, even so he could still feel that jealousy sting as Lütz would watch them from his bedroom window, playing with the neighbor kids.
Being as weak as he was, Lütz would be staying indoors most of the time, playing a bit with the family pets.
As years went by the Größel children all grew up, Siofna would be in an arranged marriage with the son of one of the fathers old friends in the capital.
Grimwald then? He had at a young age been approved as a local doctor and worked side by side with the father. The family couldn’t be prouder.. Then there was Lütz.
He did not have the same rough features as his brother, all that staying indoors (due to poor health) had left him rather pale and with smooth features. Yes he was beautiful and didn’t speak much, if he had been a daughter it would been perfect.
But now he was a man, a man with such poor health that it stoped him from being the breadwinner a man needed to be in the 1800’s.

When asked about him the father would claim it were a shame that such brilliant mind would be trapped in such weak cage of flesh and bones, the mother, Maleen wouldn’t speak much of him as she had grown distant to him from his first years.
He reminded in a good relationship with his brother and sister, often spending time with his brother who cares deeply for his younger brother and would often bring Lütz with him on walks.
With the sister, Lütz would exchange letters weekly.

Then disaster struck the Größel family

Grimwald passed away from TBC, which he had received from infected milk.
The mother went into hysteria and deep depression.
Grinwald has been a good person, unlike Lütz he was an outgoing young man driven with the passion of helping people in neee, a desire which had come from seeing how diseases had affected Lütz their whole childhood, this was something that Grimwald didn’t tell the parents as they just believed he wanted to be like their father. Grimwalds death caused something to shatter inside Lütz and he grew even more distant to the people around him..
Then the funeral came and their mother snapped. She said things that made Lütz realise that what he had thought for years wasn’t just in his head.
It was the honest feelings of his mother.. But if she felt this way about him, did others do to? Did everyone think it was a shame that Lütz himself were still around while his brother.. Weren’t..
The day of the funeral put many thoughts in his head, he would come to close himself from the world, hardly going out, he stopped answering his sisters letters even if he did appear to read them.
Sick and weak, not amounting to nothing, he were ashamed of his very existance.
As his mother had spilt the beans at the funeral of Grimwald she no longer seem to care about holding back.
The father Henrich did tell her off at times when she went way to far.
Lütz was sick off it all, so many things he wished to be able to see and do, he started to resent the people around him.
Jealous of their health of their joy, the night became his friend as he would start to wander around town when the shadows grew dark and swallowed the area, only light to be seen would be the night sky and the few streetlights sprinkled across town.

It was one of those night he came across… Her.

It was one of those nights
he came across her

It was a night no different than any of the others, he had been sleeping most of the day with a fever, noone knew as he kept to himself by now.
But he had started to develop some of the symptoms that Grimwald had carried before death claimed him. Was this all he would ever amount to.. Nothing.
Lütz wandered without any selected destination, he just needed to get out of the home, his room where the very disease were eating away his life. As he roamed the night, avoiding any of the eerie gaslights that kept the shadows at bay, and just as the shadows he kept his distance as well.

That’s when he heard voices, two men and one woman. Both men were quite large and bulky, the woman was slim and stood calmly there as the two men towered over her. Giving her nasty remarks, Lütz who’s physics were nothing compared to the two men decided it was for his best interest to leave, he hesitated slightly but lowered his gaze.

A feeling of guilt as he didn’t help the poor woman out even with the mens vile advances….
His head jolted as he heard someone cry out from pain. Lütz rubbed his eyes as he didn’t quite believe what he saw.
The taller one of the two men.. He was shouting as the WOMAN was LIFTING the MAN into the AIR!! Lütz blinked over and over as he swallowed not quite sure about what he saw.
The other man was just as shocked over the brute strength of the woman.
A cold laughter echoed from the womans lips as she all of a sudden pulled the first man towards herself and sank her teeth into the mans neck, he screamed.
The second man didn’t even have time to shout as the fair haired woman threw the first man onto the second one. The still unbitten man laid on his back and was just about to push away his fainted friends body when a weight was pressed onto them.

The woman was standing over them, her blonde hair gently moving in the breeze as something sinister gently laid over her lips, those now seductive red lips.
Lütz just stood there and saw the woman not only defeat the men, but break their spirit completely, his heart started racing as panic gripped the back of his head like a frozen sharp claw, digging it’s nails into him, not letting go. It didn’t take long for reality to strike him as the beautiful woman lifted her head and slowly tilted it as she stared at him, both men laying presumably dead by her feet.

It was then she cracked him a smile and with that the spell was broken and he found himself running away from the scene. He didn’t know what he had witnessed, but one thing he knew for sure..... That was not a human woman. The following nights Lütz did not leave his home at night, he stayed indoors, hidden away, going over the scene in his mind, over and over again, had it really happened or was it just a feverish dream?

  .・゜゜・☾・゜゜・.

After some weeks he came to the conclusion that what ever he thought he had seen.. Had not happened at all. It was just his mind playing tricks on him,  probably from all the grief.. And isolation..
But that was of course wrong, and he didn’t even need to ponder it when something, just as chilly as the night, were placed over his eyes.
As his vision were cloaked in darkness a strange get familiar voice whispered close to his ear;
“There you are~”
His scream got caught in his throat and he started to cough as he stumbled forward, clearly being let go by the woman who had appeared behind him.
“Y-You.!” He exclaimed in between coughs, the woman just chuckled at him.

Her eyes had a strange uncanny look in them, she may look like a beautiful woman dressed in a commonly seen dress from the late 1800’s.. A summer dress that is, looked awfully cold.. But even with these aspects the inhuman
“You left without even saying goodbye~” she teased while pouting with her red lips, clearly not as sad as she pretended to be.
Lütz heart was racing he had seen what the woman was capable off, his feet felt like they were frozen to the ground he knew that he were no match to her.. What ever she was.

The woman tilted her head and placed a finger against her lips, seeming to be pondering.
“Such a shame~ Especially with a handsome face like that.. Krankeling~”
He blinked, how did she know he were si-
“I can smell it…. All over your skin~” she said as she had come close enough to be face to face with him, he flinched.
“S-smell what? F-fear.? D-don’t try to intimidate me” Lütz said as he tried to suppress the fear that lived in his chest.
Maybe if he tried to stay rational.. that she’d do the sa-
“Death” she chuckled and leaned back as she took a proper look at him.
“You reek of death.. You wont last the month..” she said calmly while smiling.
Lütz face went blank, sure he knew the TBC would claim him.. Like it had his brother.. But to get a time frame like that..
All of a sudden the fear he felt toward the woman vanished. What did it matter what this she-devil would do.. He weren’t going to tell the tale anyhow..

“You know..” she cooed as her cold hands were placed on his cheeks, which cause him to stiffen a bit.
“It doesn’t have to be that way~” Lütz aside from not being a fan of her touching him, gave her a confused and somewhat guarded look.
“I could make you untouchable by the hands of death… No sickness ever able to claim you~” she were still smiling but her voice had gained an almost hollow tone.
“..Even by death..?” He slowly repeated, his heart beating faster as for some reason.. He believed her.
The woman locked eyes with him a dark almost sinister smile painted her lips as she replied.
“And strenght beyond what is humanly possible..”
Life.. Strenght… All that had been denied for him.. If he had that..
No one would pity him… Nor look down upon him. He would no longer be left on the sideway. He would be able to live the kind of life he wanted, no need to stay hidden. He wouldn’t remain indolt every day..
If it was a trick.. What left did he have to loose?
He met the gaze of the strange woman before him and she chuckled as she leaned closer, placing her lips upon his. That was the very first kiss Lütz had ever recieved in all of his human life.. Sadly it also were the last one.:

  .・゜゜・☾・゜゜・.

After that fateful night when Lütz had ”officially” met Käthe, the two of them ended up leaving the town he grew up in behind. Lütz felt sorry for his father and sister, not letting them know what happened to him. As for his mother.. Not as much..

The vampire life was a drug and Lütz an addict, he had never felt such strenght before, and that weary sick feeling.. Long gone.. Just as the TBC was.
The only blood left to stain his tongue were the blood of others.

In the beginning Lütz did have a certain respect for the woman whom had blessed him with this new found strength. So much that he would do most things she suggested. Their relationship were one made by blood. She were his sire after all, but overall the relationship would be considered one-sided.
After the curiosity passed, the very sexual relationship the two of them shared wouldn’t really interest Lütz. The woman was beautiful and he didn’t mind her company.. at times. But that was it. He would rather go hunting than spend time with her.
The power he felt when he hunted… and the one he felt when he fed.. Never in his life had he experienced something like that.

It was quickly that the games with the prey turned more and more sadistic. Sure that Käthe influenced him a bit, but it had always been there within him, just unable to manifest in a body as weak as the one he had been caged into. But the Vampirism had ripped apart the cage and he was now free to roam.
Lütz had come to realise that Käthe hadn’t been a vampire for as long as he thought, if anything she were quite new.
Which partly disapointed him. Aside from the Vampirism they didn’t have that much in common.
Hence, as the first World War came to it’s end… So did their ”relationship”.

   .・゜゜・☾・゜゜・.

Lütz prefered to be on his own, he did as he wanted and hunted who he wanted. No longer having to pay attention to Käthes needs he were a free man.

In the ruins of the first world war Lütz lived as a shadow in a broken country. People were starving on the streets, there were no works all of this left a bitter taste in his mouth.. Luckily the blood were still sweet.

Being a Vampire he wasn’t quite as effected by the damage the country had to endure. Even if they had lost around 15% of their men, there were women to feed of. Even if they were but skeletons cloaked in skin suits he could still feed even if they didn’t.

   .・゜゜・☾・゜゜・.

As the second war made it’s entry hunting became almost easier, he didn’t meddle with politics but he took advantage of what he could.
Having faced two world wars he felt even less pity towards the humans.
Ever since childhood he had felt alienated, the vampirism had caused him to think higher of himself though Lütz and the world kept their distance from one another.
If anything the distance only grew. What really launched him into the darkness was the news of his sister, whom he still were fond off. She had been married to a jewish man..
Lütz didn’t eat for quite a while, he were saving his appetite for feast all dressed in black..

After that one would think he’d feel better but he did not.  Even if he’d feel better at times, as he fed, hunted.. He’d soon fall back into the same pattern he had spent his human life in..
Staying indoors during the day, unable to relate to the people around him. This time however, he neither had Grimwald or Siofna, he came to appreciate what those two had actually meant to him.. But now it was all in the past.

   .・゜゜・☾・゜゜・.

Time came and went, Lütz adapted, what else were there to do? The 50’s with hula hoops, super glue, Barbie, automatic doors and the first credit card..
The 60’s with their heart transplants, casettes, silicone and smiley faces..
Even if life was filled with many wonders to discover life remained hollow.

Then the 70’s came, when other things came to be discovered and German students were trying to remove racist school teachers, still healing from the war… Lütz couldn’t been any less involved.. It was around this time that he got addicted to not just blood, but drugs.

Calming his spirit and mind, erasing his self. It was calm.. It was quiet.. He were shutting down, slowly until one April evening 1984..
