-Penelope is a traveling doctor from Fontaine. Currently she’s traveling Teyvat with the goal of studying the medicine of every nation she comes across.
-She has a Dendro Vision and wields a claymore. Her elemental burst creates a field that damages enemies that are inside it over time, and heals the player character. Any damage that Penelope inflicts on enemies in the field is transferred as healing to the whole party.
-Penelope is Bran’s great-granddaughter! Emilia was her Great-Grandmother. He calls her Penny and she just calls him ‘Grandpa’. He’s the one that trained Penelope to use her sword, and taught her how to navigate the wilderness. He’s also come along with her on her journey, to keep an eye on her.
-Penny has white hair with a few green streaks, green-grey eyes and wears a plague-doctor inspired outfit. She collects the herbs and ingredients she uses herself, and says that the outfits protect her when she does. She has accidently scared people with her mask, though she claims it’s just people being small-minded about it. -Is very offended if someone ever mistakes her for Fatui with her mask.
-She tends to hold that being a doctor means it’s her responsibility to do her best for her patients, no matter what the circumstances. She’s patched up Treasure Hoarders before after beating them, and given them a lecture the whole time.
-She’s a very warm and enthusiastic person, putting all of her energy into things. If someone needs some of her medicine she’s perfectly willing to give it to them without thought. She’s also incredibly calm and unruffled during an emergency, because she sees it as her job to get things done when people need it most.
-She’s currently a thorn in the side of Baizhu and Bubu Pharmacy. She and Baizhu just have completely opposite approaches to almost everything related to medicine. She thinks he overcharges for everything and is only thinking about his own profits. Baizhu thinks she’s being incredibly naive and isn’t trying to plan for the future at all. Which, to be fair, is probably true about Penny.
-Has she run short on money because she’s refused payment for treatment before? Yes, more than once. She is very good at what she does, and when she’s not gathering herbs or preparing her own medicines, she’s trying to find medical texts at booksellers in order to study them.
-Both she and Baizhu actually respect each other’s skill, they just find the other incredibly annoying. They consider each other rivals for a reasn.
-Bran finds this hilarious and says he likes to watch the kids argue.
-Sometimes I imagine her with a light midwestern drawl
-Penny can also make different perfumes and cosmetics when she wants! These she will sell and feel no guilt over it.
-Loves flowers of all types.
-Paimon is terrified of her because once she made a joke about dissecting Paimon, and Paimon didn’t realize she was only teasing.
