About
Marcy is an irritating presence to those around him. devoid of respect and especially low of empathy towards humans, Marcy is an attention seeker, a narcissist, lazy, noncommittal, fickle, and rude. Marcy refuses to work for anything if he can help it, simply on the principle - who are you to demand something of him? He only ever obeys the whims of a certain popun hes always seen around, but even then, he can be bratty or pitch a fit about it.
Women tend to love his company, but he doesnt feel the same. He likes gossiping with girls, but they arent so much for obeying his orders of buying him things or doing his work. Instead, he tends to focus on guys, especially since many of them dont mind his coarse words - tending to see it as jokes or to fulfill a fetish. Marcy doesn't have the foresight to ever be coy about what he wants, instead simply asking or demanding it.
Marcy is a dumb bitch with bad taste, but he thinks he looks awesome. He refuses any clothes if they arent a brand he recognizes. He also surfs and skates fairly often, so he does at least have a reason for his favorite clothes - though he naturally loves fashion as a popun, and enjoys dressing up, especially in something feminine. He's worn gothy clothing before, but he only does something like that for attention. While hes feminine-looking, he despises having it pointed out, and would only wear a skirt if he was asked to by Diya - otherwise, he wouldn't be caught dead crossplaying!
Marcy tends to be high, but not really for any deep reason. He likes eating when he's high and he thinks things are funnier, so why not? Marcy isn't much smarter than anyone else, but it doesn't stop him from finding people easy to manipulate. He doesnt know how to manipulate Diya at all, though he also doesnt particularly feel the need to. So long as he gets his attention, he's satisfied. He likes to see him pushed to the limit of his easy-going personality, but it tends to be Marcy who's brought to his knees and forced to admit what he wants.
Design
Appearance
Marcy is a tall, thin 'twink'-ish guy, with long limbs. He tends to expose his body in his clothing and wears things like BDSM gear, crop-tops, shorts, swim trunks, florals and short skirts. Due to his goat legs, he cannot wear any kind of shoes and prefers not to wear long pants or skirts. His eyes and Lorans are always bloodshot due to his perpetual state of being high. He has a lip piercing which he tends to wear a simple black ring in, and stubble.
Notes
- Marcy can be drawn in any clothing as long as they follow the rules above!
- He has 2 tattoos, both at the same location on the inside of his left (our right) arm - a smiling sun with sunbeams, and a flower! Both are colored.
- Marcy is stick thin.
- He never wears his hair differently unless specifically to match his clothing or pinned back with a claw.
- His nails are always painted.
Backstory
Marcy, as a human, was born to disinterested parents... they often dumped him off at family and friend's places, and never really made much time for him. Despite this, they were rich, and Marcy always got any items he wanted with little fuss. That combined with the fact that the people he often stayed with had no rules for him led to him having an extremely bratty and needy attitude. his school life was nothing too interesting, he fit in with the popular kids just fine, but he was never close to anyone, and people who did get to know him often hated his attitude of expecting things he didn't deserve. In middle school he'd often hang around his friends places, even when they were poorer, just to see family dynamics himself.
In high school, he started slacking immensely, and he simply forged what he needed to get into college, and proceeded to only focus on partying there. He had a lot of friends that were much like him - fun, but not really caring about him. In the end, he died young and alone. He felt cheated out of the life he deserved... Reborn as an popun, he quickly realized how much worse it could be, but it only fueled his entitlement further. He did anything it took to get picked to be sent to earth, despite how terrible SHEOL.corp was... he'd endure anything and throw anyone under the bus for the chance to return to a human life.
Once he was finally selected, he didn't think twice.
Relationships
Marcy's boyfriend, who is his opposite in many ways. Marcy, normally a self-centered person, loves and cares for Diya deeply, but refuses to show it directly. Instead, he constantly seeks his attention with a ton of different actions - often just to hear Diya notice and put his foot down. He loves to push, prod, and press every button Diya has, despite the fact that Diya never gives in. Marcy is highly jealous over Diya and despises his popularity with women - he wants to be front and center to Diya at all times.
Marcy is entertained by Diya's laid-back personality, and finds it adorable when the slightest of tones enters Diya's usual, almost unreadable, tone and demeanor.
Marcy's first boyfriend since becoming a Popun, and the one he escaped SHEOL with. Marcy secretly cared deeply for him and they ended up breaking up when Judah admitted he hadn't noticed that Marcy left him for a week. The two are still in contact as Marcy gets his weed from him.
