Summary
The middle brother of the Klaus-Skovgaard family, Dold grew up with what he views as the perfect family - Loving parents, and, as far as he's concerned, the best brothers in the world. He was always encouraged to follow his passions, even when others didn't get it - Those others sometimes even including his own family! He eventually went on to study game design in college, and now does programming for a living; and even outside work, he can often be seen tinkering with the code of his newest favorite games, pulling it apart to study, working on mods, or just goofing off and seeing how he can mess with the program. While he's often busy with this job, he still tries to keep in contact with his family - Though Bacon has been distant as of late, apparently even busier than he is!
Outside of his work, Dold spends much of his time with his longtime boyfriend, Rwolo, who he lives with. They're not perfect, but the two love each other to death, and Dold can't imagine life without him. The two often enjoy spending time together, playing games, watching anime, and eating the cookies Rwolo makes from the dough Dold can never be bothered to bake himself.
Trivia
- As a little kid, Dold once got upset at Bacon's distractability when showing him a game, and declared that he would "show table instead!" Since then, Table Klaus-Skovgaard, the fourth brother, has been a running joke amongst the family.
- Dold's favorite video games tend to be more relaxed, casual games, like Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, and Kirby. Despite this, he's surprisingly good at the original Splatoon, maining the Jet Squelcher and using the Splash Wall to block the tower in Tower Control, as well as consistently playing every Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game as himself and his boyfriend. Despite having played through every copy multiple times, he always manages to make himself cry at the endings.
- Speaking of crying at games, despite having very little memory of the series as a whole, he bawled his eyes out over Xion's fate in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days while watching Rwolo play. He was overjoyed to see her return in KH3, excitedly pointing out the hooded Kingdom Key wielder in the battle against Saix and Xemnas in the Keyblade Graveyard. He has no idea how she got back, and he doesn't care.
- Dold is a surprisingly good cook, when he's not being lazy and just making instant noodles or raw cookie dough. Cleaning, on the other hand, is not his strong suit. They're still finding soap residue from when he overfilled the washer some time ago.
- Dold collects Amiibo, and has an entire wall dedicated to them in the game room. He especially likes defective and custom ones, and even had a custom Ditto figure made and attached to his PowerSaves Amiibo Power Tag in reference to its ability to mimic any official Amiibo.
- Dold is mildly nearsighted, but doesn't have glasses because he insists it isn't that bad. He also speaks with a slight lisp.
