traits: To put it in simplest terms... Kayla is insane. Like, batshit crazy. She has bouts of random laughter followed by fits of uncontrollable crying. She tugs others close, wraps herself around them, pleading with them to stay, only to yell and scream at them the next minute, demanding that they leave and never speak to her again or she'll kill them. And kill them she does. She's been a killing machine since she was born which, giving her upbringing, isn't all too surprising. Perhaps if she had been raised in a different environment, her mental issues wouldn't have gotten so bad. Instead, they took over. She suffers from hallucinations - audio, visual, and tactile - and delusions and paranoia. She has very strong impulses to hurt herself and others and sometimes the urge to commit suicide grows so strong she has to be restrained. In reality, she doesn't want to die, she just thinks she does in the moment. Sometimes nothing makes sense. Sometimes she doesn't feel like she's even alive. It's like she's floating outside of her body through space and time where nothing is real.

history: From the start, Kayla was different. She was difficult to handle from the moment she could walk. When she learned how to talk, it was never quietly. She had no "inside voice." Kayla always had two volumes - loud and louder. She was born from a slave mother but Berserk saw something in her. Her quirky personality and mood swings made some mares take pity on the filly so he used her as bait. He would send her off in the world, getting her really upset and crying, which, honestly, probably only fucked with her head even more, and told her she wasn't allowed back until she brought someone new for him to have. And she did well. Outstanding, actually. She was such a good liar and it was always impossible to tell when she was lying because her moods changed so quickly! Even Berserk had trouble reading her. But she also wasn't one of his favorites so he never bothered to tell her that he was leaving. One day he was just gone and then Chris left and Kayla found herself alone and bored with no relevant family around her anymore... so she left, wandering and wandering with no destination in mind.
