Toussaint

★ BASIC INFO ★

General Toussaint is assigned to Kaguya V, the gas giant colony where S&S takes place. He's part of a mysterious fascist Empire that's creeping across the Milky Way.
He has the personality of a mean dad that has a soft spot for existential fear.

Toussaint's spinal column is exposed [a la the jarred fetuses in The Devil's Backbone]. A hive of bees uses this exposed spine as a way in and out of his body. They have turned him into a living mellified man. Most of the inside of his body has been overtaken by honeycomb and honey, and his skin gives off a golden glossy shine. The decorative shield on his back protects his exposed spine, letting the bees live safely inside him.

★ MISC. FACTS ★

• The 'face' of his mask can be removed, but he rarely does it. 
• His eyes and lungs have long since stopped working. The bulk of his mask is wired into his brain and does those things for him.
• The only joy he gets in his life is when his peers send him bee memes.
