Ranmaru is a demon that has the ability to change the make up and shape of his internal bone structure and often uses his bones to create weapons. This type of fighting can take a toll on his body, so it is not unheard of form him to carry a weapon instead.
He works under Kain as a sergeant in the demons army. He often delivers messages to Kingston. Because he is a demon, he is hugely avoided and often gets away with threatening the king.
