Kaeru

A young lady who purchases a busted up scythe from an old man at an antique shop. In the prologue he convinces her that all her dreams will come true and her true potential will shine if she uses the scythe in a specific location. This is the start of her travels to another world. Once she enters the world of Aereningate the scythe is restored to its former self and she is referred to as the "keeper of the violet blade". 

Kaeru is overly curious and clumsy. She is very squeamish when it comes to blood and can become easily flustered in uncomfortable situations. She is fascinated by elves and takes a liking to Yaso, and elven soldier. 

She often butts heads with Daichi and gets along well with Yolei.
