Aethea is pretty independent and seen as level headed for the most part. Jarred hangs with her, almost never the other way around. She tries to go with the flow, but if there are drastic changes going on, they're slightly hard for her to get a handle of, but she keeps that concealed. A "do no harm, but take no shit," sort of person when it comes to everyday life. She's a great smooth talker when need be. Despite her appearance, Aethea is kind and tries to be nice whenever she can. She cares about Jarred more than she's willing to admit. She gives off the "Bad Ass Bitch" vibe, but doesn't see herself as one at all and just sees herself as someone doing what they have to do and trying their best.

She is very clinical about her main occupation, neither detesting it or enjoying it. On the other hand, she is very efficient when focusing on task at hand. She has a sort of hyper focus, where she will only focus on what needs to be done and nothing around her. Getting pulled away from her hyper focus of completing her current task is like someone snapping out of a day dream and will cause her to forget everything that she is doing and what's happening at that time, which is part of what caused her and Jarred to fail their important mission that got them exiled from their realm.

Appearance

(Note: I want to say she has mid toned skin with a warm undertone, but I'm not really good with skin tones, so pretty much, refer to her ref instead of my word.)

Aethea's eyes are pure white with a round shape to them, her nose is similar to a small, round shape, and her eyebrow shape is close to almond. Her hair is maroon-colored, as well as short and messy, and her horns are similar to ram horns. Her ears are pointed as well. Her lips are full with a bow shape.

Her figure is closest to an hour glass shape and her stomach is toned and flat. (with no trace of abs, so please don't draw her with any) Her bust size averages between a C and a D cup. Her arms and legs are toned, but not overly muscular. Unlike Jarred's claws, her nails are sharp and pointed like stiletto nails, but she keeps them to a moderate length, while she files her toe nails down to the way the average human's toe nails are. Her thighs are a little on the thick side, and her tail is similar to a lion's tail, but long enough to stop about 6 inches above the ground. The hair on the end of her tail is the same color as the rest of her hair, and she has full functionality of her tail in the mobility and control department.

Backstory

Aethea never actually had parents. She was born from a very strong burst of emotion. Generally with demons who are born from such a strong burst of emotion, there is some sort of an inciting event that leads to their creation. An accident, an altercation, anything can cause the demon to awaken into being. Aethea doesn't quite remember what created her, which is not uncommon among demons. For as long as she could remember though, she's had vivid dreams of horrifying things.

She was on her own from the moment she was brought about. She was newly made, but had the physique of an 8 year old. From that point on, she was a wild child. She stole money, items, necessities, even challenged other demons to fights and won. She continued like that for years, until a corporation reached out to her. They asked her if she would be willing to work for them, and when asked what she would be doing, they told her that they were in need of people to take others out. They had heard her name floating about, and they thought she was what they needed, and as one of the biggest power corporations she had ever heard of at the time, she agreed. Once she was able to have a steady flow of money coming in over the years, he personality slowly did a complete 180.

Soon after then though, she was given a job with another demon named Jarred, and a very important one at that. Having known about her great memory, their job was for Aethea to go gather secret information from a rival corporation that held the most influence over people, read all of their files, and to not bring any back so there is no proof, while Jarred was to keep watch, take pictures of future plans, and be sure nothing bad happened to Aethea while she gathered intel. Once they started the mission, everything was going smoothly at first. They got into the office with no problem, found all the files, and once all of them were laid out accordingly, Aethea got to work while Jarred kept watch. Jarred took a few photos here and there before sirens started going off. Aethea kept at it while Jarred looked around frantically, trying to figure out how they had found out about them. They wouldn't find out until later on that there were cameras in one of the hallways that they had passed through and one hidden under the desk in the room that they were in. Security flooded into the room in no time, and while Jarred was trying to fight them off and Aethea was hyper focused on the work she was in charge of, Jarred failed to stop one of the guards from knocking Aethea out before getting over powered and being knocked out himself. When they woke up, both of them were tied up and gagged. The other corp. was holding them as hostages, and when they contacted the corp. Aethea and Jarred worked for, their boss said that they were now worthless pawns that the other corp. could do what they wished to do with them before hanging up. Completely surprised that they were just thrown away like that, they were stuck with the other corporation. After getting the absolute shit beat out of them, they were both released. After that happened, both corporations told them that if they ever saw or even heard of them ever again, they were as good as dead. After taking that as the sign that they could never be within the same area for a radius of 1000 kilometers or so, they decided to team up and take on their own work elsewhere.

Trivia ( + Headcanons)

• Aethea doesn't particularly enjoy her job, but she does what she had to to get by.
• There's something that mesmerizes Aethea about watching a fire dance that just makes her feel the need to watch it until the fire burns out.
• Because of her love of dancing and taking breaks, she wants to take Jarred camping in the woods one day since she has gone before, but he never got to do anything like that when he was a kid.
• While Aethea and Jarred never truly stay in one place because of their job, Aethea does have a rented apartment that they use as a base.
• Aethea actually owns a motorcycle that her and Jarred ride to get to place to place and travel long distances for jobs and such.
• Aethea's always the one that drives the motorcycle while Jarred has to sit on the back and hold on to her, which he finds partially embarrassing. Neither of them can wear helmets on the motorcycle though due to their horns.
• On the months where their business has been slow and haven't made enough to be able to afford basic living needs and rent, Aethea dances for extra money. She also does that when they just need some extra money in general. (dancing in a place that children aren't allowed, lol)
• Aethea doesn't actually know if Jarred has his own place to live since when she asks, he changes the subject, so she had a spare key made for him to come and go as he pleases. She even made sure to get a couch that turns into a pull out futon and to put spare pillows in the drawer of side table on the left side of the couch and spare blankets in the drawer of the side table on the right side of the couch. He does end up crashing at her house very often and they sometimes have a movie night once a month.
• A little less than a year after they were first run off, Jarred ended up attacking Aethea on accident during a mission. She ended up having to leave him at the location of their mission after it was done and going to a hospital. Although the wound was bad, miraculously for her, the scars faded and are no longer there, and she also forgave Jarred for it the night it happened.
• Only Jarred knows about all of Aethea's background and backstory, and vice versa.

⇀ Jarred [ work partner/friends ] Aethea and Jarred were originally sent to take care of important business, but they failed due to unforeseen circumstances and were exiled, then choosing to roam and take on odd jobs, but mainly take business on as hit men of sorts, taking work from all sorts of people and other beings. She tries to keep him out of trouble when she can, which is fairly often when she has to bail him out from any kind of trouble. She does it on her own volition though instead of him actually asking for her help though.
