Born deaf, Encarna already had an advantage when it came to his Cosmo. He spent his life living in temples, and he went undetected by the Saints of Athena for quite some time, due to his incredible will and self control when it came to cosmo flare-ups. Found by accident by the Virgo Saint who was visiting his home country, Encarna gratefully accepted an apprenticeship and took the mantle up at the young age of 16.
