The demons inhabiting Life were meant to be better than any other life form, but they ended up being convoluted creatures with just enough of a link to their blueprints to stamp them as a failed project. Undoing them now that they spread throughout the world like vermin would not only be difficult, but also unnecessary. Why destroy them if we can create better in their eyes?
