| A character from a cancelled 80's cartoon brought to life by a wish. Their show ran for a good 7 seasons, but low ratings and changing values was the cause of them being removed from air.
Their show mostly featured Mercury and their crew fighting monsters and aliens and adventuring through the galaxies.
Up until the mid 2000's, Mercury sat suspended in a dark place. A dying child wished to meet them before they left the world. The power of the wish allowed Mercury to materialise in the human world. However, the rest of their crew was left behind.
Mercury now resides in an abandoned 80's mall, preferring to spend their time alone in a place they feel at home. There are a few working TV's left (albeit without service) and Mercury usually spends their time figuring out how to pull their crew out of the TV. They've figured out that if they wish hard enough, they can materialise two of their crew members at a time, but the power of their wish is nowhere as strong as the power of the one that brought them to life. Therefore, the crew that emerges from the TV are extremely glitchy and their physical form lags behind their voice sometimes. Usually, the buzzing of static from them is too loud to hear them speak over, but when they can get a word in, it's comforting for Mercury to hear them again.
Mercury's best friend is Blanket, a space pup Mercury found while traversing the galaxies.

A dreamer, happy, a little bit spacey. Mercury, being a cartoon character, is very happy, kind, generous and sweet. They're a touch naive as are most kids show characters, and are always willing to lend a paw to someone in need. Naturally, Mercury is very curious and desires to learn more about their world and others alike. They don't like causing trouble, but will fight if their friends or planet are threatened. They are extremely courageous and like to take chances, believing that life is to be lived to its fullest. The drawback of this is of course, Mercury isn't exactly well equipped to deal with anything besides what you would find in a little kids show. The human world is shocking to them and they haven't adjusted all that well.
Mercury has a dream to travel back to the stars and galaxies someday. The limits of the human world don't allow them to do so at this time. They have a jetpack that they love to race through the sky with, however they always fall short of reaching space, just like how their show fell short of renewing for another season.
