Heartcatch is a lovey-dovey bunny idol who sang for fun and unexpectedly rose to to the top of the charts. She's a happy girl who loves to make people smile! She feels that she can always be her best self around her fans because she knows they love her for who she is, and will always find time in her day to sign something or take a picture with a fan. Heartcatch's songs are often about love, friendship, and sweet/sentimental feelings.

Being the sensitive girl that she is, she feels that she can be her best self when she's with her fans. After all, they're the ones who stick by her through thick and thin and who support her with their unconditional love. Without them she would still be singing alone in her bedroom to someone else's pop songs instead of on a pink-lit stage full of glowing stars. She makes sure she has as much free time as possible so she can relax and enjoy life, but even if she's recognized by a fan she's happy to give them an autograph or a warm hug.

Backstory

Throughout high school she found it hard to make friends and get close to people, despite being on several sports teams. As a result, she spent a lot of time by herself dancing and singing in her room, drawing, or going on walks in nature. Being quite afraid of rejection and negativity, she never dated, confessed her feelings to anyone, or did anything intimate. Despite her fears, she gets crushes very easily and loves the uncertainty of flirting with her crush.

Only a few months before she decided to record her first song, she was just a regular high schooler. She didn't have bunny ears or the confidence to cut her hair and dye it pink, not until she met the fairy. While walking in the woods one cold winter, she came across a wounded rabbit laying in the snow. She quickly bandaged the rabbit and hid him in her room, making a comfy nest out of her sock drawer. During the weeks that followed, she had an audience that she could sing to without judgment. Heartcatch found herself making up silly lyrics and singing snippets of melodies to the rabbit as she grew more attached to him. Finally, the day came when the rabbit's wounds were all better, and he surprised the girl by speaking. His mouth and eyes glowed as he thanked her for her help, and granted her bunny ears as a start to expressing herself. That spring, Heartcatch's career as an idol took off! Her oh-so-realistic bunny ears were definitely a charm point.

Appearance

Heartcatch's hair is pink, curly, and cut in a short sporty cut with bangs. Her little white ears are always upright unless she's very sick, and she blushes the tips of her ears pink for shows. There is a little pink heart mark on her right cheek that she draws on, she is never seen without it. She has ears but no tail! Her body is slim with a small chest, and she prefers to wear high-waisted skirts and shorts to mark her hips more clearly.

Her show clothes are always pink with white (and occasionally red) details, with a very fluffy and full petticoat. Since her image is a cutesy cupid-like one, her gloves have pink hearts on the back and there's often a heart patch on her right sleeve. Heartcatch's personal style is very similar to Larme Kei - frilly, cute, lots of pink, button-ups tucked into skirts. She also likes to include faux fur accessories in her daily looks, like plush pom-pom hair ties or fawn-print capelets. Her leisure wear still has a bit of her style in it, opting for a hoodie with wings on the back or a vintage slip dress.

Relationships

Haruka [ best friend ] Best friends brought even closer by the idol industry. They often visit each other's apartments (bringing each other's favorite snacks, of course) and sing together. They even do collaborations and shared stages every once in a while, although the public assumes it's because their show styles work well together.
