Redd is nothing special as far as large, talking, magical birds go. He grew up in a simple family that had a taste for the more elegant things in life. As time passed and the family tree was passed down to him, Redd continued to pursue this notion of need for the more refined. He spends most of days keeping his literal tree house in the most tidy fashion possible along with collecting any rare or 'pretty' oddities that he can scavenge from the humans. Whether it be the leaves on the tree or his fancy, stolen tea cups, nothing is ever out of place in this little thing's house. Aside from basking in the archaic notions of aristocracy and dabbling in kleptomania, Redd also has a knack for dressing up feathers and fur, much like a hair dresser. He uses an array of different berries, saps, and oils to create the most fabulous do's possible. Of course, none could ever match the beauty that is 'naturally' curled feathers.
Personality
Redd is extremely haughty and 'refined'. He enjoys playing the part of the aristocrat and will go out of his way to make sure that he does things 'properly'. And while he does not mean for it to come off as rude or uppity, it does so to almost everyone he ever has contact with. Despite the fact that he is very much full of himself, this little bird is also an excellent conversationalist and... surprisingly enough, listener. Others will often brave his ridiculous persona in order to seek guidance and understanding from the fowl.

- Redd swears his feathers are naturally curled, whether this is true or not is left up to the beholder to decide.
Design Notes
- Redd is based off of red velvet cake in color and extravagance, hence his full name.
- He wears a large red ribbon around his neck tied in a bow, red 'X' shaped hair clips, and red ballet-like ribbons around his little bird legs for accessories.

Dirge [ Mail Man ]
Redd's mail man and secret admirer. He's absolutely infatuated with the haughty, little thing and will come around his tree house to 'accidently' deliver the wrong package just for a chance to see the other bird.
Reverie [ Cousin ]
Scam artist extrodinaire and Redd's cousin. The two don't get along well as they both feel that the other is always trying to 'one up them'. Still, family is family and so they tolerate each other to an extent.
Sureal [ Neighbor ]
A neighbor bird that Redd simply must know who does his hair! Though every time he tries to get close enough to speak to the other, it seems that Sureal gets swept away in some sort of business that doesn't include him...
