Doeblaze

Background

Doeblaze comes from a long line of wandering loners, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She loves nothing more than to feel the wind in her whiskers as she crests a ridge to see the autumn foliage before her.

Relationships

Sneezepuff is Doeblaze's littermate and best friend. It is common for wanderers to travel alone and see their kin only at their annual reunion, but the two are attached at the hip.

Thrushfur helped guide Doeblaze's mother through delivering her litter and helped raise them until they were old enough to travel. The siblings consider Thrushfur like one of their aunties and make sure to visit whenever they're in the area.

Wandering Paws is one of Doeblaze and Sneezepuff's many, many cousins. Nobody in their family except the ancestral matriarch can keep their lineages straight, but the two cats do see each other occasionally. Wandering Paws is too caught up in his own head for Doeblaze's tastes, though.

Trivia

• The group of wandering loners that Doeblaze is descended from mark their blaze into these trees every time they pass by on their annual circuit. As the years go on, each cat's unique signature curls the bark into a lasting sign.
• Doeblaze and her siblings are named in the traditional warrior style, which makes her stand out among her kin.
