A fallen angel, Ezra doesn't remember much about being alive, nor much about what happened in Heaven that led to their fall. His sin couldn't have been too bad though - his wings are only off-white, not burnt jet black. However his halo has become a crown of thorns and his body bears the marks of stigmata, an ever flowing reminder of their banishment.
Ezra doesn't appear this way to other humans of course; their wings and halo are invisible to the unenlightened eye. Although they cannot see the open wounds, to humans he bears the scars on his hands and a blind, milky eye.
Dominik was the first person he met who knew what he was. Although suspicious, the priest is trying to help him recover his memories of what happened and is assisting him in research to see if he can somehow redeem himself.

PERSONALITY
Ezra is the reserved type, often quiet and exuding an aura of melancholy. It doesn't take a lot to make them cry, sometimes its the most unassuming thing that sets him off. He feels remorseful for what he did, even though he can't remember it - that may change if Dominik ever manages to bring their memories back. But for now, he wishes he could return and be forgiven for whatever it was that they did.
He does smile occasionally - it's usually the soft kind that doesn't always come across as genuine, even when it is. It's not that they don't care or can't feel happiness, he just struggles to allow himself to be outwardly joyful. There is a sense of self-detriment and he has bad periods where he actively seeks punishment for his actions.
