wip, heres some ideas tho
-used to be best buddies with nieve for a long time. nieve really hates demons and once he found out cheat was a demon he became really abusive towards him.
-cheat was hurt, but endured it as nieve was his only friend. as time went by, cheat started believing that was what normal "best friends" would do.
-when he found out that wasn't, he began to hate demons and curse their existence. he hates himself for being born a demon as well. [with ye-eun]
-meets ye-eun while out stealing some stuff. he steals some chips from her, and she fights back with magic; but it's the weakest little flame cheat's ever seen. he bursts out laughing and shows her his stronger fire magic. ye-eun is startled at first, thinking he was going to kill her, so she starts crying. cheat immediately cancels his magic and apologizes. he wants to do something for her in return for making her cry, so ye-eun decides that she wants cheat to teach her the ways of his powerful magic.
-starts teaching ye-eun in return for a bag of yays chips per class. yays chips is love. yays chips is life.
-ends up falling in love with ye-eun but doesn't really know he's in love since he's never experienced it. he brushes it off as a very close and pure friendship.
