Brevyn

Brevyn is a friendly tree. He's not very smart in a lot of ways, especially academically, but he values knowledge a lot. Since he's a parasitic tree, most people misunderstand him as a two-faced person. Because of that, he's slowly become a little shady about what he does in order to have people not find out who he really is. He wants a change of life, and while he's not focused on being 'good', he's not particularly cruel, he just needs to feed off of other trees to live. He's moderately sensitive, loyal and caring.

Trees do not have concepts of gender, or at least not human concepts of gender, so Brevyn doesn't really mind any pronouns (people default to 'he' and he's like ok), but since he doesn't know how to read, he's not sure how to use pronouns different than he/she, it's confusing. He wants to learn, though, but not particularly because of that. He just wants to know about life.
