SUMMARY

the All-Mother wrote stories to then tell to her Children, and from those stories different worlds and universes are born. Her Children who was created in her likeness also took up her love for stories and started writing too. for her Children who wishes to create as She did them, she gave their words the power of autonomy. as books quickly grew to an unmanageable amount, the All-Mother created another being to aid in managing the books.

and so, moony was born. it is a being that exists for the sole purpose of being a Lorekeeper. it logs books that comes in and out of the building's doors, as well as keep track of events happening in the books; reporting to the All-Mother and Her Children if anomalies or unprecedented disasters were to be spotted. it's a job that moony excelled in but it is terribly repetitive and boring. with time, it began to add reading into it's schedule whenever possible. one day, it accidentally found that it has the ability to jump into the books and experience the world it has only ever seen in writing firsthand. what else could it when the prospect of an exciting adventure offered its hand? of course, take it and jump.

...it Lives As it Yearns...
UNIVERSE: BEGINNING

a lone figure living in pitch black darkness grew tired of solitude and created beings made in her visage. for her "children", she ripped away the darkness to make way for light, painting their surroundings in colors and various shapes. and as to not have her children float away too far, she built a large building where they can reside. in there, she would gather all her childrens and tell them stories. for her children who loved her stories, she wrote down her tales and binded the pages into books for them to revisit anytime.

WORLD = BOOK?

In layman's terms, moony is like a Librarian and the building is a Library. There exists multiple worlds, and each world is a new story written by the All-Mother and Her Children that takes form in the shape of books. Every new significant events that happens in the world is a new chapter written in the book.

The All-Mother gave her Children's words the power of autonomy. Which means their stories can progress by itself, following after the main plot point written by her Children. Think "AI". Due to this, sometimes the autonomy leads to an unwanted devastating continuation to a plot that may end a story early. This is particularly prone to happen to books that is still unifinished yet hasn't been revisited for a prolonged time to add new chapters. one of moony's job is to report these occurances before it's too late!

Story

write later but moony woke up to an indescribebable sight that he learned was his Creator. indescribable in the way that he couldn't put his finger on how the All-Mother looked, but even so he knew that the All-Mother was beautiful. quickly, moony was ushered into a section of the building with a desk up front that overlooked unsurmountable amount of books and began to be trained on being a Lorekeeper. as he was created with that intention, he picked up everything quickly and was very soon able to man the desk by himself. and then an uncountable amount of time passed before moony started growing... bored. and so during times where none of the All-Mother's children would visit him, he would find a book to read to pass time.

immediately moony became hooked with stories and reading became his favorite pastime (not like he had anything else to do beforehand). being exposed to many different kinds of characters and world settings, it affected moony's growth and he grew to become somewhat curious - even rebellious. using the power bestowed upon him by The All-Mother that allowed him to jump into books to stop unprecedented disasters, moony jumped into a perfectly fine book one time fully on a whim. as per always, when jumping into a book he was assigned a random role that suited the book. moony traversed this new world for a bit, and he found it super fun. the rest is history! he got addicted to jumping into books and experiencing things he never could have, what with being "confined" inside the All-Mother's building's walls.

Trivia

  • moony was born nameless, often referred to as simply "child". it gave itself the name "moony" simply because it likes the moon, which is it's everyday view from the building.
  • finds comfort in passing time by reading different universe's stories. takes particular note of his favorite books and picks them back up everytime a new chapter gets written.
  • When they world hop, they try to be a mob character as much as possible for fear of impacting the storyline and getting found out by the All-Mother.
  • Has a beautiful penmanship and writes in cursive.

One paragraph would look best but you can go wild!

The relationship box/section does NOT scroll but like before, there's instructions if you want it. The content itself doesn't scroll by default but I think it's better this way, especially if you plan to write a lot!
