Background Info

Marlon has always been fairly quiet and reserved, which lead them to not make many friends in school growing up. His family moved from the UK to America when he was in middle school, which made it even more difficult for them to make friends. He, however, considered his younger sibling to be his best friend, as they were the only person after the move that he felt comfortable hanging out with. However, soon after the move, their family got into a car accident. The accident took the life of his mother and sibling. His father decided to move them both back to the UK after the accident, and even though he was closer to home now he felt a lot of survivor's guilt. Throughout his later school years, he wasn't a bad kid but he found himself in trouble a lot. He had a few friends but refused to get very close to them because he was scared of losing them. Once he got out of school, they moved to the city and worked at a small electronics store. A year or so later, a strange person came in requesting them to fix his laptop. When he unscrewed the bottom of it, a fragment of a stand arrow came out and lodged itself in their hand. After some struggling, he survived and they got their stand Portishead. He went back to the mysterious person with the fixed laptop to ask about what that was, and the person explained to him that he's part of a heist organization that steals things back to get the things to their original owners. The person explains stands to him and how the organization is mainly made up of stand users he recruits. Marlon decides to join, as he feels that this is a way he can bring things back to people that were stolen from them, as his sibling's life was stolen but can't be brought back.
