Clothing Style

De Jack always has a style that's a touch of professional, classy, mildly punk, and somewhat futuristic. He dresses himself sharply and moderately flashy, although he's not too extravagant. His favorite colors are black and red, yet he rarely takes off his blue goggles no matter what color scheme he's wearing. He does not like any type of gloves, and he prefers choker style necklaces over any other type. He most commonly wears a red choker with the gold wing symbol of Lord Dalia. In most cases no matter what outfit he's wearing, he usually wears his favorite pair of gray boots with red inserts and crossed laces in front.

While working at Emdrica Fly, his most common outfit is a black, collared, sleeveless jacket that only buttons on the top half and has trailing coattails with red tips. He wears a red sleeveless shirt underneath it, and the jacket has red trim where the buttons are and a red striped design on the lower left side. He also wears separate black sleeves with red cuffs and trim, along with red straps near the elbows that connect to black elbow pads.

Personality

De Jack is known across the Eternity as the helpful and smooth talking Zilvian agent of Lord Dalia, although he may be famous for various things depending on where you hear about him. The vast majority of the Eternity knows him as the guildmaster at Emdrica Fly who provides housing, support, and information to those who visit his establishment. Others who have the right connections may know him as the DJ of the dance club of the deities, Galaxia Soul. And many young rifters on Taliac just know him as the weird but cool band teacher for the Hateulots private school system. 

Regardless of where you meet him, Jack is always rather mellow and cool headed. He's very easy to approach and talk to, and he tends to have a calming presence. He can be a little playful or mildly teasing when he talks, but he's always down to earth and provides a willing ear and open mind to those who need it. Due to his many responsibilities and countless millennia of life experiences, he's very well organized, wise, and well networked. He feels best in social situations, although he works just as well on his own, and since he's seen basically everything over his long years, he rarely gets surprised anymore. However, he's not so jaded that things don't amuse him anymore, and he always manages to find ways to make his life feel fresh and new each day. Jack likes to keep himself busy and enjoys socializing, but he does tend to overwork himself since he theoretically could work without rest forever if he wanted to. He loves spending his time helping others and is very generous toward those who are in need, although he's smart enough to recognize when someone is just being lazy or fishing for unneeded handouts from him. Although he's almost always very calm and level headed, the few things that do make him angry can make him utterly terrifying. When angered he often can immediately intimidate everyone into submission, and his aura alone is enough to shatter all the glass in the area and disrupt frequencies, whether they be electric, sound, rifting, etc.

Jack has three versions of himself. The one that works at Emdrica Fly tends to be the most responsible and mature. He interacts with hundreds of people daily, and he's highly organized, social, and efficient with providing others the information and connections they require. He's respected by everyone in Emdrica, and although he doesn't endorse it his patrons tend to rough up people that disrespect him. However he doesn't give others much reason to dislike him, and he's only interested in doing what he can to make other people's lives easier. He will be open toward even those who have wronged him in the past or those he might not particularly like, since he tries his best not to be biased in who he provides his services to, although he will firmly refuse anyone if he senses they will use his help for malicious purposes. If any of the other Jacks are talking about this one, they will usually refer to him as “De Jack” or "Sir Zilvas."

The version that works at Hateulots private schools as a band teacher is very similar, yet he has more free time and is a little more loose and when off duty. He is just as personable and easy to talk to as his other self, yet he's more oriented to being very child friendly (not that any of his versions are vulgar in any sense) simply because he works at schools. Since he has more time to relax, he also tends to be a little more whimsical and silly, especially since he spends every day of work interacting with his best friend, Vahlent Ryfax, who is the principal and head of the district. The two have countless inside jokes and a very close relationship, both usually acting rather weird around each other when not busy with their jobs. This Jack is also much more energetic and somewhat ridiculous since he's on the move more often and runs most of the music program. He picks out and sometimes composes the music the student perform, and he also choreographs all the musical routines they do. If any of the other Jacks are talking about this one, they will usually refer to him as just "Jack," but sometimes they'll refer to him as "Mr. Zilvas" since he is a teacher, or DJ will teasingly call him "Band Jack."

The version that works at Galaxia Soul as a DJ comes off as the most wild and carefree. He seems a little irresponsible sometimes, but he takes his job very "seriously," although that job consists of handling the music and lights/effects and making sure people are having a great time at the club, so he's very high energy, mellow, and relaxed. He never seems to run out of energy and works constantly since the club never closes, so he's constantly in endless-party mode and very social and likes to live in the moment. The few times he leaves the club he tends to still be stuck in party mode, so expect him to be blasting music through his headphones and dancing as he does anything. If any of the other Jacks are talking about this one, they will usually refer to him as "DJ."

Weaknesses

• Tends to work himself too hard and rarely has free time
• Tries to stay out of directly controlling situations and usually remains in the background unless he absolutely needs to intervene
• Has a minute amount of Void taint within him that sometimes causes him to involuntarily break things around him when angered (such as all the glass in the room shattering)
• Life force is entirely dependent on Lord Dalia and cannot survive without him

Backstory

Jack was created as a unique species, the Zilvian, meant as a refined prototype for immortal species. His creation and development proved to be successful, so Jack continued a relatively normal life with the members of Dalia's Court. Over the time that the Eternity was still being slowly crafted, Jack formed a close bond with an Eksel by the name of Vi, and the two frequently traveled the in-progress Eternity to see the new sights. The two witnessed the first casualty of the First War when Yashana's double tricked Vi's brother, Maradias, and stole the power shared with him by Lady Yashana. While trying to escape her and her allies, the Demriles, Jack lost his right hand and suffered a terrible injury to his eye, and Vi was slain trying to protect him. Jack barely managed to escape, and Lord Dalia granted him a new hand and eye, although the emptiness in his heart from Vi's absence lingered for generations after the First War ended.

Lord Dalia then created the only other Zilvian in existence to be Jack's son. Jack named him Insanity because Vi always thought it would be an interesting name. Jack serves as a helper and guide to anyone who seeks him out in Emdrica. With his vast knowledge from his long existence, his insight and connections are vital in combating the rising threat of the Enlightened. He works multiple jobs by having copies of himself, all of them sharing the same consciousness, and they regularly collaborate with each other to catch up on the experiences the others had during that time. His primary self works at Emdrica Fly where he serves drinks at the bar and also serves as a leader for a guild of workers and information collectors. On Taliac, he works as a band teacher at the school for the rifting community in Nebraska where he spends time with his lifelong best friend, Vahlent Ryfax, who is the principal of the schools. At the center of the Eternity he works as a DJ at Uriel and Razora's intergalactic dance club, Galaxia Soul.
