Physical Appearance

• Shoulder-length black hair with red streaks

• Somewhat slender build
• Slightly tan skin, although he's a little more pale since he rarely goes outside the Celarus

Clothing Style

Exodus wears a fairly simple outfit for working in the labs, consisting of a plain green shirt, khakis with a black belt, protective black boots, and a lab coat. He wears the standard tracking choker of the Enlightened, and if he wears the standard green goggles they're usually around his neck when not in use. In general his style is unassuming and simple, and he doesn't feel confident wearing anything too daring or flashy. He would prefer to blend in with other people and not attract anyone's attention by what he's wearing.

Personality

Exodus is a thoughtful and hard working young man, although this tends to be overshadowed by his uncontrollable anxiety and skittish nature. He is very jumpy and gets startled/flustered easily, and he has a hard time keeping a cool head when stressed. He's constantly anxious about his surroundings and the people around him, and he's rather paranoid about any possible danger or trouble no matter how outlandish or low-probability. Even in non-dangerous situations he can be over-excitable and is almost in a constant state of worry for various reasons. He tends to think too deeply about his situation and what consequences his actions make have, and he tends to work himself up even without an active reason for it. He is a stickler for rules since he's too timid to take risks, but he's also often too meek to correct anyone else who might not follow such rules. He is very passive in the presence of others and is always a follower, and asking him to take the lead will probably make him panic. He often has trouble making decisions and has even more trouble approaching others or starting conversations. He treats almost everything that's he's not aware of as a threat, so even small things like a leaf blowing in the wind or something he sees in his peripheral vision can startle him. He flinches at most movement and noises, and he needs to work in quiet and relatively low-staffed areas for him to feel most at ease.

In general, Exodus is always uneasy in his environment and tends to have shaky hands if he's not focused on a task or his work. He's usually very timid and shy around his peers/colleagues and will keep his distance from anyone he doesn't completely trust. If he is comfortable enough around someone, he still is a little anxious and meek, but he can work with them more easily and is very kind and helpful. Exodus doesn't have any speech impediments, but he tends to stammer a lot when speaking to others, although it decreases greatly the more comfortable he is with the person and the calmer the situation. He lacks confidence and doesn't believe he's much of an asset in any situation, so he usually needs to be assigned to somewhat simple and mundane tasks to warm him up to the situation before asking anything else of him. Exodus is very skilled at his lab job and can handle complicated work, and he is very organized and efficient with files. Just don't distract him with anything that might scare him.

Backstory

Exodus was recruited into the Enlightened when he was 17. He previously lived in a quiet town in Quentos, Lailic until it was raided by the Enlightened. Exodus had no blood relatives since he was taken in by the town locals as an infant, and he was traumatized by the slaughter of those he considered to he his family. He passed out when he became cornered by the attacking missionaries, and he awoke in the medical wing of the Enlightened Celarus to learn he had been drafted. Here he met General Amando and Arth Skar. Exodus was later put through initiation and then assigned to be a lab worker in the C.X.L. Faction under General Amando.

He was uncertain of his usefulness due to lack of confidence along with fearing for his life should he resist his forced drafting, but he found his niche in the workers with sorting files and paperwork and ensuring procedures are followed. He eventually specialized in mutant testing and tended to handle most of the mathematical technicalities and procedural experiments, although he does not interact with living specimens much since they make him incredibly skittish. Exodus has to work in a quiet and orderly work environment, otherwise he is easily startled and flustered. He later became General Amando's Subordinate since he is the most competent lab worker in the faction. He also ended up working closely with Randin Lekodric, the highest ranked lab worker of the T.Y.L. Faction, since he's one of the few people that Randin is comfortable around. Arth was the T.Y.L. Faction's Subordinate and directly ranked below Randin, and he would often run items down to Randin from General Lekodric. Exodus and Arth encountered each other often and eventually became best friends. 

Over the years, Exodus developed a crush on Arth, although he was far too shy to speak of it with him. Only recently he manages to confess to him, and to his surprise Arth reciprocates. Exodus's confidence is still shaky around him, but he certainly feels more at ease in his environment since Arth is so keen on looking out for him.
