Alexei does not remember his parents much. He was told by his father's friend that the moment Alexei's father had seen his mother, he'd become obsessed with her. They had apparently dated sometime before this second meeting. The two seemed to disappear off the face of the Earth for a few months, when his mother came to his father's friend's door and left Alexei, already a few years old, and said his father would be there to pick him up soon; neither were seen again.
The first few years living with the friend wee fine, if strained. The man seemed to resent Alexei's mother and through extension, him. As he got older. things became harder. Kids started grabbing him, staring, he could feel whispers where ever he went and even the friend started staring. He's put in a foster home, and then another one. He runs away, he continues to rotate foster homes and manages the last year of high school with an elderly couple with only a few big incidents. He loves music, and wanted to pursue it in college, but after turning 18 he's dropped out of the states care and has little to do.
He tries to start a band with some people from school he knows, but they're way more into partying to take it seriously. This causes tension between Alexei and them. The final straw is when he's given a back up vocal part and most of the bar just goes quiet as they watch him.
He moves around, starts pawning off his instruments. He'll have an apartment for a few months and things get fucked up. He'll get a new job and he screams at someone. Rinse repeat.
After a long stretch of working as a waiter, Alexei is fired after a guy tries to touch him and he punches them, and he's asked to leave. He comes across a fortune teller on his way to submit an application and meets Faustus, who is weird, and nice in a jerk kind of way. They become roommates only for Alexei to realize the guys secret immediately...

- Alexei has been in SO MANY RPS that died like a week after I joined, so he's a little cursed. In the first RP he was in he had an elevated power of "perfect pitch" which does exist! He used this to hack things with his voice.
- Bitterness levels on this boy increased the more RPs he's been in
- Greatly desires a family
- Alexei was in marching band in high school and wanted to get a degree in music theory. Was in percussion for MB.
- Can play guitar, and piano. Also can sing decently but he prefers not to.
- All or nothing attitude. Gets worked up easily. Thinks everyone is out to fight him. Assumes everyone is just tolerating him.
- Very hard worker, but often gets tunnel vision.
- Has various hair clips and ties to keep his bangs out of his face, though he never seems to get it cut.
