Hoofhisser TOS

The Hoofhisser species is a closed species made by KayBob. 

Foundation rules:

 - Do not make one without obtaining an myo egg from the species server. The server can be found in the species’ folder description. 

- Do not attempt to scam members of the species. We are not responsible if you are scammed. 

However, if scamming takes place in the server and there is enough proof to constitute a ban, we will take action. Keep in mind that it is also up to a user to recognize scams and we are unable to refund anything that is not an item or teeth (such as giving them art or money). 

- Do not sell unapproved Hissers. 

- Do not buy unofficial Hissers. 

- Do not create multiple accounts to participate in events, raffles, DTAs.

- Raffle winners will have to wait for three raffle/raffle batches to pass before they can win again.

- Hissers made with an event egg can only be traded 1 month after they are made.

- Once a Hisser of the Week (HOTW) is chosen, the owner will have to wait a month before another one of their Hissers can be chosen as HOTW.

Foundation rules (cont.):

 - Do not claim the species as your own. 

- Do not use them for monetary purposes. 

- Do not trade or recreate Hoofhissers for public use or sale, regardless of platform or medium. 

- CBCs (character based characters) are allowed. 

- Hissers based off of real people are not allowed. 

- Religious based designs are not allowed. 

- Cultural based designs are not allowed. 

- Country/patriotic based designs are not allowed.

- Hoofhisser designs cannot be one solid color. It must have at least two different colors in its design.

Buying adopts:

- Only designated guest artists have the right to sell Hoofhisser adopts for actual currency. 

- When buying a Hoofhisser from a guest artist, you must abide by their rules. 

- Every guest artist has the right to refuse sale to anyone. 

- Do not sell Hoofhissers for actual currency unless you are a designated guest artist. This includes deviantart points, usd, and any other form of actual currency. 

- They can only be sold for actual currency (if you’re not a guest artist) if the have extra art. 

- We are not responsible in the event that you are scammed by an unverified user creating and selling an adopt for actual currency. 

- When selling adopts in our server (for fake currency or irl currency) that belong to another closed or open species, that species must be partnered with us for you to be able to sell them. 

The one exception to this rule is ‘common’ open species that do not require joining a group, like dutchies, protogens, sergals, etc. Anything that is well known enough to not need an explanation or a species sheet to understand it would fall under this exception. 

Monetary values:

- Hoofhissers that are made, only using the species currency, have a monetary value of 0$.

- For each MYO egg purchased for real currency, the Hisser's value is equal to the price that the egg was purchased for. 

- If you buy an adopt for actual currency, it has the value of what you bought it for.

- Any Hoofhisser can have its value increased with additional art pieces separate from the masterlist image.

Redesign rules:

 Any Hisser redesign must bear some resemblance to the original design. Major changes will be denied. 

Any new traits added, that are different from the original design, will need an item in order to add them. (Same goes for new mutations or add-ons) Redesigns that change the pattern and a small amount of colors can be done for free. Colors can be hue-shifted slightly and be allowed. Same goes for the minimal addition of new colors to the design. 

For the mutations and add-ons, if you decide to keep them on the new design, they must be the same feature as on the old design but these features can be in different locations then on the original form. 

For example, say your Hisser has moss on their back. A redesign can have moss on their face instead. But say you wanted to change the moss, on the new design, to flowers instead. You would need an extra item to do so since the feature is different. 

This also applies if the Hisser has wings and the type of wing is different in comparison to the old design. (ie. feathered wings to bat wings) It would need an arial potion for the change.

Removing mutations and/or add-on features do not need any items in order to remove them in the new design.

Redesign rules (event MYO related):

 All new traits will need scales even if it is included in the original event MYO egg. The only exception is event exclusive traits. Same goes for changing any mutations. So things like heart ears, heart horns, and looped lovely horns would be allowed to be used in a redesign but any other regular traits will need a scale/potion/vial for each one.
