Profile
Captain Longspur
Brown with a spotted pattern that lengthens into stripes at their legs. Their underside and paws are white as well as having a white stripe run up their face and into the long, scraggly mane that sprouts up along the length of their spine. This same long, scraggly fur covers their tail which is bushy and slightly shorter than average. The rest of their fur is short and unkempt with spikes that stick out in odd places. Their ears are long and slender and end in spiky tufts while their legs are on the shorter side. Their eyes are a pale yellow-green accented by thick eyebrows and a small scar across the muzzle.

- NOMENCLATURE
- Longspur — a group of small, stout songbirds
Has steady paws and a good eye for plants. Works with the weavers to maintain the garden so Longspur doesn't have to. A decent cat who does their job and isn't overly annoying.
A soft-hearted fool. Spirits only know how he became leader, probably because he was captain of the scouts, they always seem to win the admiral position. Way too relaxed and indecisive.
Arrogant, self-centered, ditzy, idiotic. Just because you have a mouth and can speak doesn't mean you should.
Almost as bad as Sealight. At least they aren't rolling belly-up, giving honey eyes to every broad-shouldered tom that looks their way.
If Fjord is indecisive, Sicklefin is never making a decision ever. What a terrible choice in captain, were the fishers really that dependent on Maelstrom? Pathetic.
Lots of cats claim she is intimidating but it's hard to be scared when Longspur knows all those nasty scars probably would've healed over just fine if scouts weren't notorious for picking off their dressings early. Egotistical muscle-for-brains with a dash of paranoia.
Trained as a medic after completing her communicator training but it was a waste of time. This gossip monger is only in the medic den when a freshly injured cat has a story to tell. But will she sort herbs or make poultices? Oh no. Why would she? She's a communicator after all, not a true medic.
