Profile

They have had their name stripped from them, but they were formally the eldest sibling of the Dansing family. I mean, they still are, just not like legally. Their story comes from a playthrough of The Magus by momatoes!

They were raised as the oldest Dansing child, but at age 14 decided to leave to avoid feeling stuck by the family's limitations on magic. The family didn't approve of this, but Tetri, 4-5 years their junior sibling, attempted to remain in contact with them. They first got a taste for using astrology in fucked up ways when they accidentally removed a portion of someone's subconcious, rendering him comatose. As they kept traveling, they met another fortune teller who had heard of them and wanted an astrological confirmation of a prophecy she had interpreted that claimed the end of the world was imminent. They said they'd look into it once they got to a real observatory. On their way, they learned a way to divine the mental and spiritual state of a person by implanting a violet into them, and they figured out they could also use the flower to guide one's mental/spiritual state. They started growing several violets under their skin. Every so often, they'll plant another one. Around that time, Tetri found them, explained that he had a mysterious illness that was getting worse, and ended up nearly begging [REDACTED] to implant a flower in him that could alter the state of the symptoms. They did, and continued on their way to an observatory. Once there, they discovered that there was in fact an apocalyptic omen (that just so happened to be centered around them. hmmm). They proceeded to invent a spell that would invert the laws of astrology on themself temporarily. If that doesn't make sense it's definitely because ur stupid and not because it's nonsense. /j. Uhhh anyway, this effect extended a certain radius beyond themself. Patterns become natural in people's lives, and so whether or not a person within that radius was learned in astrology at all, they would certainly get a sense that something was deeply wrong when this person was around. Townsfolk became less receptive of them, frequently driving them out. This wouldn't be a problem if they hadn't begun switching involuntarily and eventually started losing track of which state they were in at any given time. After wandering for a while, they were approached by a child who asked if they would raise the dead of her village for the sake of vengeance. [REDACTED] figured out a way to do this by reflecting certain constellations over a corpse. Not long after semi-successfully raising the dead, they were found yet again by Tetri. They confessed to necromancy to him, but Tetri was not as understanding as they'd hoped. After they failed multiple attempts to wipe Tetri's memory in his sleep, he had them formally cut off from the family. After this, they started to lose it a bit, thanks to keeping the violets in for too long as well as their fluid state of reality, and they started to see the closest things there are to gods in this world. That put them on the gods' radar, and they started trying to use them as a vessel from which to manifest. However, the gods could not fully realize themselves, despite their host's willingness. This is where the game ended.

[REDACTED], mind torn to shreds at this point, went on to start their own astrological cult with the aim of either figuring out how to control and/or release these gods.
