PERSONALITY
| (Personality is W.I.P.) Hailey is introverted. She prefers to be alone, with only her spider pet being her companion. She's reserved and timid among strangers, and to some extent even to her acquaintances. She can make an impression of being cold, because she tries to distance herself from others, to avoid accidentally hurting them when she can't control her magic. She's obsessed with supernatural creatures and is always happy to meet them, and she opens up only to them - she knows that her spells, even when mis-cast, are very unlikely to harm those beings. |

BACKSTORY
| Hailey lives in a secluded place just outside Darkwood Town's boundaries and works alone as a sorceress and alchemist. She usually collects herbs and studies magic on her own. She doesn't like to help others, solely because she usually fails despite having good intentions and she doesn't want to accidentally hurt someone. Most of her spells have bad side effects. Her magic skills haven't always been like that, however. She used to be quite good at casting spells, until one day she decided to experiment with necromancy. A mis-cast spell promptly turned into a chain reaction which ended in her releasing a huge surge of magical energy into the ground, affecting the land in a radius of many, many kilometers... which eventually caused some dead to rise (like Hail and Stain). The accident forever crippled her magic abilities and Hailey could never perform a fully successful spell again, unless it was related to necromancy. She felt very guilty for what she had done, knowing that she actually caused harm to the people she brought back. After a lot of thinking and reluctance, she confessed to them about the accident, which made the undead furious at her for causing them so much suffering, but they eventually forgave her, knowing that after all she hadn't done that on purpose. |
