Lady Godiva (Max)

Max Gadget, also known by his test name, Lady Godiva, is a walking nuclear weapon, and will emit dangerous levels of ionizing radiation unless he’s wearing his yellow containment suit. Dan Bombsite, Victor Hedrom, and Marc “Dogsbody” rescue him from a top secret military lab in 1959.

About the test: The Lady Godiva Test was a series of top secret United States Military nuclear experiments conducted by the DCNPP&ERL laboratory from 1954-1959. Post World War II, the United States Military funded various missile research projects. At the same time, the newly formed CIA was looking for ways to infiltrate target countries with concealed weapons. The idea for a ‘nuclear human’, ‘bomb human’, or ‘human pit’ followed soon after, the idea being that a spy could live in a target country with the threat of detonating.

His back, chest, legs, and arms have ‘control rods’ that will control/cut off his power if pushed in or pulled out. Despite his cold demeanor, he loves his friends and will eventually open up to you if given the chance. Later he takes on the name “Max" and befriends a sentient ICBM missile named NIKA.

Physical Characteristics: His containment suit consists of a respirator/mask, yellow lead lined protective suit, and steel boots. Has a metal lower jaw and wears synthetic skin over it. My design for him is pretty inconsistent.
