Henri Lowell (Middle school)

Starting his first year in a middle school inhabited by humans, Henri is constantly forced to keep his true nature in secret: he is given his own room on the 4th floor (the very same floor Claude and Jonathan inhabit), and with his puberty kicking in, he's often finding it hard to keep control of his transformation, ears and tail in particular popping out when they shouldn't. Although Henri has a hard time keeping his body in check due to the constant changes in his body, he's determined to attend the very same school his own father used to attend in his youth. 

Somewhat cocky and precocious, others find Henri both intimidating and somewhat obnoxious, but older students do appreciate his looks quite a lot, which is fine by Henri. However, he's not particularly interested in dealing with older students, and he only ever spends time in his own year group's common room despite the numerous invitations to spend time with older students. 

He's acquaintances with his classmates Rick and Kennith, and becomes closer with them only during his second year. Although he makes no appearance in the visual novel Sinfonia, it's mentioned people can hear strange howling from the 4th floor's hallway during full moons. 

Appearance

Compared to his current canon, at 13 Henri is much shorter, with a fragile looking body he wishes to hide underneath his clothes. His face is slightly rounder, eyes larger and his eyelashes lighter and shorter, partially due to his age, partially because he hasn't started using mascara just yet. His ears and tail are considerably smaller in size, and in his werewolf form he resembles a wolf cub with somewhat round features. 

He is seen wearing the Lottenberg boarding school uniform, with a modification to one his pants that make it possible to let his tail come out through a small hole usually cleverly hidden under a fold.
 

Trivia

• The only ones who know about Henri's secret are the principal (a man known for having old ties to some magical families, although he has no magical core of his own) and a third year called Roche, a fellow werewolf. During his second year, however, Rick and Kennith both discover his secret, and become closer as a result.
  
  
• He has a couple of really close calls as his ears pop up during the lesson. However, if someone has actually ended up seeing his ears, they certainly haven't came to tell Henri about it.
  
  
• Absolutely can't get along with his classmate Percy, whose dominant nature goes strongly against Henri's own. Although they don't fight physically very often, they are known enemies of each other.
