Your name is HARRISON HARVEY, but you just go by HARRISON MINOR. Seeing as Minor is the last name of your ADOPTIVE FATHERS, you thought it’d be a good way of fitting in to the family. It’s NOT LEGALLY CHANGED IN YOUR RECORDS, however. You don’t want to do that just yet.
You’re a KIND and SOMEWHAT SHY boy, and you’re VERY APPRECIATIVE for EVERYTHING around you. You’re HONEST and also HARDWORKING, putting a lot of effort into your day-to-day life. You feel you should give back, especially due to how lucky you were and how lavish your life is now.
You're QUIET and tend to KEEP TO YOURSELF more often than not. You don't often go out, and you don't often socialise outside of school hours. In saying that, you often find it hard to SAY NO when invited out places. You don't want to DISAPPOINT anyone after all.
You don’t really HAVE MANY INTERESTS, but you do ENJOY READING or playing CHILL VIDEO GAMES. You enjoy spending time with your BOYFRIEND but you find his family too VULGAR and NOISY to hang out with him as much as you’d like.
Harrison is a generally kindhearted, quiet boy who’s perfectly happy sitting on his own in a library buried in some fantasy novel rather than go out with friends. In saying that, he enjoys company – just with a few people at a time. He’s not really one for crowds, but they don’t bother him because he’s pretty used to them. He just prefers his own small group.
Most believe he’s naïve due to how flustered he tends to get around mature topics, but that’s not the case in the slightest. He only seems to get flustered publicly, but in private he finds it more than easy to keep a straight face. He's very mature for his age, but some things he doesn't find appropriate for public talk so he tends to get embarrassed.
He’s very polite and honest, he doesn’t really believe in lying for any reason, even if it’s to make someone feel better. He just doesn’t like it. So if your outfit was terrible, he’d tell you. Just… in a nice way. Harri also has a tendency to daydream or ‘zone out’ when he’s not being included in conversation or being talked to directly. This will often result in someone clicking their fingers in front of his face to get his attention. Despite that, he's actually pretty attentive and has a good attention to detail. He's able to multitask in different situations - like listening in on two different conversations at once and remembering every detail of both of them, for example. He's good with faces, and recognising the little things about people like a birthmark, eye colour, or scars.
He's also very intelligent - being almost the top of his class. He doesn't flaunt it though. It's probably the bonus of having two incredibly smart parents that he can go to whenever he has questions or needs tutoring on a topic.
Harrison is a somewhat average height at 5’8”, and he has a fairly frail appearance as he’s quite skinny and doesn’t have much muscle at all. He has a basic rectangle build. He has a very soft looking face and almost has hamster cheeks due to how chubby his cheeks are. He’s got freckles all over his nose, cheeks, arms, and shoulders – with a few sparse ones over his legs, neck, and torso. He has ginger hair which looks more of a chestnut brown indoors or in dull light, but in the sun or in general bright light his hair looks a bright orange.
He has a very ‘nerdy’ or ‘dorky’ fashion sense and he loves to wear sweater vests and button up tops – his favourite being a blue checked pullover vest and a bright yellow button up covered in pineapples. His favourite colours of choice and the ones that fill his wardrobe are yellows and blues – but mostly yellows. His bright attire taste and cheerful personality has earned him his ‘Sunshine Boy’ nickname.

- He won’t openly admit it, but the brown shirt he wears under his vest has a cute decal of a puppy on the front of it. Only Cain knows about this, and playfully teases him for it.
- Harrison cares so much for his budgie, Calvin, that he saved up all his money to buy everything for him (including a huge cage the size of a small wardrobe) all by himself – despite Travis being rich enough to buy it all for him without a worry. He’s also taught his little budgie to do tricks, and say some words. He lets it roam free in his room while he’s home and likes to go for walks with him on his shoulder.
- His favourite animals are birds. He watches a lot of documentaries on all different kinds of species from finches to vultures. Unfortunately he doesn't really care for penguins.
- He can’t stand sweet food (especially any cakes), simply because Travis bakes so much multiple times a week. There’s only so much cake he can eat before he tires of it. His friends at school love it though, because he gives them the cake he gets in his lunchbox.
- He has an interesting sense of humour that he only really shows around close friends. He’s pretty up to date on the latest memes, and sometimes quotes them in a joking manner if the situation is fitting. Overall he tends to lean heavily towards dry sarcasm.

Harrison was dropped off at an orphanage when he was born because his mother couldn’t take care of a child at her age, nor could she have done it on her own. Surprisingly, unlike almost every other child that had been dropped there prior, she left him with both a first and last name, plus a birth certificate. She did eventually want to meet with him again if he allowed it.
Unfortunately, he was never adopted. Not for a long time, anyway. Once he’d passed the young toddler stage, he went through many foster families. None of which were particularly pleasant with most of the adults fostering too many children at once simply for government financial benefits.
When he was seven – at his last foster home – he’d accidentally taken ecstasy that had just been left on the kitchen table because his foster mother said it ‘made her happy’. Suffering depression at a young age, he took them thinking they’d make him happy too. He did this for a solid month before the home got busted and raided for drugs and he was sent back to the adoption agency with the rest of the foster kids under her care.
When Travis and Seichi showed up looking to adopt, he was surprised they chose him. Especially since he was past ‘prime adoptable age’ and was also suffering somewhat bad withdrawals and going through therapy. He was more than happy to let them both adopt him and after a month or so, he was finally able to go home with them. He was allowed about two months to settle in before the two enrolled him in school for the new year’s start in January. He enjoyed school, even if he tended to get picked on.
He and Cain met at a park one day, after maybe about a term of school was finished. Travis and Seichi were surprised to see that their old English teacher from high school and his misfit rebellious girlfriend-turned-wife had managed to have a kid, and they talked for a while, while Harrison and Cain kind of waddled off to play on the playground equipment. Despite their polar oppose personalities, the two boys hit it off and became pretty good friends that day. Harri asked about him that weekend after the park day, if they could hang out again. Travis said probably, mostly because he still had Erik’s e-mail back from when he had to send him his English assignments for marking.
Unfortunately, when they did meet again, Cain’s other childhood friend – Delilah – was over at his house as well along with her parents Daovia and Hirsch. Travis was excited to see those two again as well, and wanted to catch up – leaving the kids alone together. Delilah hated Harrison from the start due to how much attention Cain paid to him compared to her, and he was very intimidated by her as a result. It didn’t help once he got to high school, not only did he find out that Delilah was in his grade – but also in most of his classes. Thankfully she wasn’t too much of a bother. That was until Cain and Harrison eventually ended up dating. She, from then on, refused to even acknowledge the small boy’s existence. Not that he minds, he prefers it that way.
Cain and Harrison have been best friends since they were young, and it wasn’t really a surprise to anyone when they announced that they were dating. They are polar opposites with Cain being loud, brash, and overt, and Harri being shy, quiet, and responsible. Cain is always trying to annoy and fluster the younger in public, but Harri always has ways to get him back in the end. They’re very close and are always joined at the hip – wherever one is, the other won’t be far behind.
Harri isn't really sure where his relationship with Delilah stands. He's not sure if she hates him, just tolerates him, or even just considers him an acquaintance, but he knows that he's fairly intimidated by her to the point where he won't even sit near her in class. He's definitely certain that she doesn't like him because he's in a relationship with her childhood friend and crush, but there's not really much he can do about it.
Harrison loves Seichi and he teaches him a lot about all kinds of things and he’s the half that Harri always goes to when he’s having trouble with his homework or writing. He’s the more responsible half of the relationship and Harrison usually prefers his company much to the chagrin of Travis.
Harrison always goes to Travis whenever he’s upset as he knows that he will cheer him right up in an instance with his humour and fun personality. Travis is basically the fun dad while Seichi is the serious one, and Harri appreciates having someone he can joke around with. He’s also found that Travis tends to be more fatherly than Seichi in the sense that he has a ton more empathy and Harri knows that if he has a problem he can go right to him. He’d rather not talk about his occupation or his baking though as Harri would rather ignore both of those things.
Harrison feels kind of awkward around Erik simply for the fact that he works at his school and was not only his English teacher, but both of his fathers’ as well when they were in high school. But Erik is Cain’s dad, and as a result Harri sees him often. It’s just odd seeing your old teacher in a normal setting!
Melissa is much too rowdy for Harrison’s liking and as a result she tends to make him feel nervous whenever he visits, but at the same time since she’s got no sense of manners or anything, Harri enjoys being able to be crude around her without being embarrassed by his behaviour. She’s the cool mum.
