Charmeine

APPEARANCE

Charmeine is a magical girl of average height, with an appearance that is really rather plain when compared to others. She has messy, pale blue hair that falls just past her shoulders, bangs that frame her face and a fringe that nearly covers her eyes. She also has a cows-lick that vaguely resembles a halo. She wears a grey-and-blue messenger outfit, with the only burst of colour being a yellow feather that adorns her hat. The only thing about her appearance that lets her stand out is her pair of large wings.

PERSONALITY

Charmeine is an incredibly anxious and fearful magical girl. She distrusts everyone and prioritises her own safety amongst all else. She's a coward, and readily accepts this as a fact. However, she isn't exactly pleased with it. She doesn't like being a coward and is dissatisfied with who she is. She doesn't like selfish people, but feels she has no right to look down on them taking into account what she's like. After going through significant trauma, Charmeine becomes detached from her emotions and absolutely determined to achieve her goals, no matter what. Despite this new attitude, she still tries to keep those she deems innocent safe in her own way.

BACKSTORY

Charmeine was originally a dove, and became a magical girl after a rather uninteresting selection test where she exploited her wings to their fullest. After becoming a magical girl, Charmeine continued to only be successful thanks to her wings. She became a messenger, passing messages that were too sensitive to be passed through magical phones. Her employers were all satisfied that she wouldn't leak their messages thanks to her extreme anxiety, and so she remained in high demand.

After being part of an illegal and traumatic social experiment, Charmeine became disillusioned with the Land of Magic, believing that those in charge didn't care about the corruption in their community. Now Charmeine is dedicated to rooting out the corruption herself, using violent methods to get what she wants.
