At just over 8 sweeps old, Oberan’s irises are almost completely filled in with her blood colour now, the teal in her eyes nearly as bright as her blood itself. Her large saber-like fangs don’t get in the way much, but her horns do tend to get snagged on things, especially clothing. That’s why she keeps her clothing as easy to get on as possible, with a simple vest top featuring her symbol and a modest skirt. She keeps her long, wavy hair tied up in a bun most of the time to keep it out of the way.

Oberan is always calm and controlled, keeping her emotions as in-check as possible. She thinks that emotions are weakness, and tries to force herself not to feel them. However, she’s not always the best at it; her sense of humour shines through when she talks to people, as she just can’t resist making butt puns as part of her quirk - to the extent of replacing the letter ‘x’ with the symbol 'Ⓧ’ while typing. When left alone or just with her lusus, she secretly enjoys indulging in fiction about royalty and magic.

She’s an average writer, although she thinks she’s a lot better than she is, and she’s an excellent debater. In a physical fight, she refuses to let sympathy hold her back, and can be quite ruthless.

Background

Her lusus, Rear Admiral Snowmane, is similar to the snowlion of Tibetan mythology. She tried to raise her charge to be cheerful and fearless, but early into puberty Oberan started to do her own thing. Snowmane does her best to show the young troll that bottling up her emotions is unhealthy, but has almost completely lost control of her now. Neither of them really know how to connect with the other any more. Occasionally they’ll travel together to visit friends, other trolls who live in the frozen tundra like they do.
