Her hunched posture disguises how tall she actually is, but if she drew herself up to full height Sakina would stand at 7'6". Her even fur is a light orangey-fawn colour and the whites of her dark brown eyes often show due to her nervous disposition. The tip of her right ear is slightly split, and a few of her right whiskers are noticeably shorter than the others.

She wears casual shorts and no shirt under a long white lab coat, as well as a hoop earring near the base of her left ear with a small sapphire embedded in the white gold.

Personality

Although usually reserved and shy, nervous around other Jiiko (and especially those of authority) due to her social anxiety, she can speak at passionate length about her work, and is always delighted to find anybody willing to listen to her about it.

Originally from Usakia, she now spends most of her time aboard capture ships, and hasn’t seen her home planet in a long time.

History

Even when she was small, Sakina always had a fascination with other solar systems and planets, particularly those with alien life-forms. It wasn’t until she was 145 or so that she decided upon a career, but finally followed her passion for knowledge into a life as a researcher. It wasn’t long before she decided to specialise in the Milky Way, and quickly became the foremost expert on Earth fauna. Realising that she would be able to learn a lot more conducting fieldwork, she volunteered as part of a capture ship’s crew one day and hasn’t returned to Usakia since, frequently switching ships as her presence is more and more valued.
