Profile

🌤️Bradley "Brad" Klepp
He/Him

🌤️Brad is a 24 year-old who is living a quiet, fulfilling-enough life in his apartment, where he works as a remote H.R. manager and offers part-time dog walking for elderly dogs in the rich suburbs.
🌤️Brad's facade is that he's very cool with everything. This isn't the case. Inside, Brad struggles often with doubts and insecurity in himself. He struggles privately with drug addiction and anxiety.
🌤️Brad considers his transition to be going semi-smoothly, the relationship to his family relegated to a toleration with a two-way private grimace. He doesn't enjoy talking about family very much and will usually switch the topic.
🌤️Brad gets his social fill from his occasional work-related meetings and some trans-exclusive dating apps. He came to terms with the fact he didn't have many real friends long ago.

🌤️Big on LGBTQ+ rights, Brad has always been at his happiest when he feels pride for his gender and sexuality. Despite this, he tends to show off his identity in more subtle ways, opting for being a secret black sheep in an unassuming crowd. He says it's what he prefers, but deep down he's afraid of rocking the boat.
🌤️He met Beat at a LGBTQ+ artist's gallery event, the two keeping up with one another online. They lived about 4 hours away from one another and have visited on a few rare occasions, though once Beat fled home, Brad wasn't able to keep in contact with him.
🌤️Though he'd deny it, Brad worries himself about Beat's well-being. While he stopped offering outright help when it became clear Beat wasn't ready to accept it, he continues to let Beat know he'll be there if they need anything.

Trivia

🌤️Brad's design is inspired by the artwork for Oberhofer's album "Smothered". His name is taken from the singer, Brad Oberhofer, whose music style and lyrics helped greatly to inspire the energy of the story.
🌤️Brad's family is of Ashkenazi Jewish & Norwegian heritage. He's trying to involve himself more in learning the history of his heritage. He likes clothing and blankets that sport traditional Norwegian knitting patterns, and he celebrates Jewish holidays.
🌤️Brad has been out as trans since he was 16, staring testosterone at 20 after finally moving out for the first time.
🌤️Brad got his tattoo flash of a snake during his 2nd year in college during the birthday of one of his housemates at a tattoo parlor. He chose it because he thought it looked cute.
🌤️Brad has a substantial collection of earrings, liking ones that give subtle nods to LGBTQ+ symbolism. His favorite, the lambda, is a symbol historically representing LGBT unity and change.
