Backstory:

Birth:

Jonah was born into a low-income family. His mother was hardworking, but she didn't seem to make enough no matter what. His father was absent, making his mom an only mother.

Childhood:

Growing up was difficult. Being African American, low income and born out of wedlock made him a target for bullying. However, he quickly defended himself, which got himself into many fights even when he was a child.

Teen years:

Jonah quickly got a job as a local mechanic due to his knowledge of cars and bikes. He got into more and more fights as he aged, and even carried around a switchblade for protection - something he still owns to this day.  He joined a gang around this time and truly took up the greaser persona. 

Adulthood/Present:

Jonah, now 18, still resides with his aging mother and her cat. He plans on moving out, however, he's afraid to due to his mother's failing health. He met Madeline during this time and become smitten with her, so he regularly visits Rosie's Diner.

Facts:

- his fav rock and roll bands/artists are; Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and the Crickets, Everly Brothers, and Bill Haley and His Comets.

- he smokes and is always seen with a cigarette either in his mouth or between his ear.

- knows how to play the guitar

- owns a motorcycle named Darla. It's mostly black and gray.

- usually found hanging out in either his gang's hideout or at Rosie's diner as he feels the safest there.

- is actually a huge romantic guy, but doesn't know how to show it.

- his hair is styled in a ducktail haircut (a different variation of the pompadour)
