Esrira is physically blind, but due to his ability, it doesn't impede him in any way. Somehow he always still knows where things are, what people look like or might be wearing, or what those around him are doing. The downside to Esrira's ability and lack of physical sight, is that he is constantly lost in "when."
It's hard for him to separate what is past, present, and future. He'll talk to someone like something they will do has already happened, or sometimes like they haven't done things they already have. He is aware of this problem, though, and so purposely is reserved and vague with everyone.
Esrira is distant and difficult for anyone to understand, and hardly ever makes an effort to clarify. He's a bit lonely because of this, and although he is gorgeous and sought after by many, he lacks personal value in himself.
As a note to self: I want him to be some rich asshole's (or maybe company's?) tool. Used for his ability. He dislikes his life, and sees himself as no more than a tool, just like his 'owners.'
For his story, I'd like him to somehow escape this way of living--either stolen away or rescued. I want him to eventually live with someone warm and soft, like the sun. Who'd make him smile and open up, turn softer and happier. Someone who'd teach him the value in himself and in life. It'd be really cute seeing him in a small town/back alley place offering foturnes and advice because he wants to, not because he is being forced to. A happy, quaint little life.
