$10 - Protogen

"Okay mother fuckers, let's rock this joint!"

For a long time Strep Throat - a punk rock band headed by Strep himself - were a rather popular group.  While their somewhat abrasive image, both musically and behaviorally, kept them out of the main stream charts for the most point, these same qualities gave them an edge in the alternative market.  The band were big for twenty years, producing seven albums and going on five separate universal tours, before they decided to part ways.  It was around this time Strep had found his soulmate, and left the wild rock lifestyle behind for his new love and what was basically a desk job.

That isn't to say Strep dislikes producing music, far from it in fact!  He enjoys mingling with up and coming talent, and has trained many an act for the stage and radio.  And he does still play on occasion; he's well known for keeping an acoustic guitar within arm's reach at all times.  It was a trait that at times annoyed his wife, as he would often strum idly while she was trying to talk to him.  But it's just who he is; Strep lives and breathes music, after all.

As you might have gathered, Strep cares little what people think of him.  He does what he wants to do, when he wants to do it, screw the societal norms that say otherwise!  While he can be rather inconsiderate, even selfish in his ongoing quest to do whatever the fuck he wants, he is genuine and does have a good heart beneath all the nonsense.  When he's not going out of his way to show how cool he is, he's actually rather sweet and generous.  It's why Duchess fell for him... With his self centered attitude being why she eventually told him to leave.  They're still in contact, but he has a talent for driving her crazy in more than one way.
