Derek Winston

Derek is a 24 yr old guy living in NY,NY.. He has a Chinese mother and a British father, but Derek himself had always lived in NYC. He gets enrolled in school quickly but this makes him one of the younger people in his grade. However he happened to befriend a kid named Archer, who was one of the older kids in the same grade and is a foreign student. He and Archer went on to be best friends for many many years. 

Derek is a fun loving guy. He likes to eat, but isn't a great cook; he's usually ordering out a lot or buying quick things to heat up. Once in a while he'll attempt to make something on his own though. He loves sweets and pastries a lot, but also likes salty or savory foods as well. He loves to play video games; he's a pretty hardcore gamer and gets into high rankings at the games he's good at. He loves anime and manga too, and he likes to collect merchandise. 

It is without doubt that Derek has most definitely played and enjoyed the Ace Attorney series lol

Aside from that, he enjoys most RPG and Racing games,  and is very good at FPS. He gets real competitive with the last one. He has a group of online friends he plays with and the friends always wants Derek to be the leader since he's the best. 

He owns a car and he loves it. He currently has a fairly pricey brand he had saved up for and is very proud of it. It's high tech and very classy, with a dark interior and leather seats. He keeps his car very clean and treats it well. He does get very fussy when other people are in it though, and he would prefer no food or drink be out while he's driving (unless it can be quickly and securely contained), though he allows his cup of coffee. He also wouldn't want others to drive his car. Derek likes the speed, but he is also a great driver. He likes carpools and long trip drives, and it's the best thing ever to go out with some friends since he gets to go on the HOV lane lol

Derek likes his coffee with lots of sugar and milk. His best friend Archer prefers it black. Best friend combo right lol

Before he meets Chris, Derek wished he would be lucky enough to have a S/O sometime. He didn't matter if it were a man or a woman ;w; He gets slightly envious looking at other couples sometimes during school or even now at work or onthe street. Ironically he tends to be oblivious when someone tries to make a pass at him or just be subtle about it. He most likely needs direct confrontation or a sudden moment to make him realize you like him. Lol sometimes people thought that he might have a relationship with Archer since they're so close, but nah they're just great friends, despite the outward FwB look lol

Derek seems like the type to create an OC and rp with it, however he may only have the time for one OC and just adapt it to different situations lol

At one point during his college years he was a part time in a bar and would do the basic duties, but he gets to learn how to make different drinks from there too and he found that experience really fun. 

Derek has expensive tastes in items though he tries to deny it and play it off as only wanting to have good quality items. He doesn't go shopping often but when he does he tends to drop close to a full paycheck on new things, and they tend to be few things or essential things he needs or replaces. He doesn't really get the need for so many shopping trips nor the need to impulse buy things like what Archer does. 

Sometimes he'd sleep with his glasses still on and I'm sure you glasses wearing ppl know how not good that is lol

He's been wearing the same frame style for years and he thinks thinner or modern styles don't look as good on him, plus he got so used to having big frames anand lenses that it would feel uncomfortable with a smaller one.
