Profile
Dmitrios is a responsible and adventurous young man. He works as a fisherman most days and sells some of his catches On his down time he’s often fishing for himself or for fun, or sculpting something out of rocks or clay. Sculpting is his favorite hobby and he picked it up when he was younger going to a recreational art school during his free time. He's a naturally curious or adventurous person. He's often going on walks or sailing out a little further than the usual fishing spots when not working. He doesn't realize it but it's a trait that's very similar to his dad and his uncle, who were both adventurous people themselves.

FishingHe's gotten very good at fishing. He's been doing it since a young age and being in the ocean is like a second home to him. His main tasks is to help bring the netting up when he goes fishing with the others and hold the net down so the fish don't escape or bring the net down with them, but he also knows how to handle a boat.
sculptingHe liked taking the free art classes when they were offered and in the end it was sculpting and 3D stuff that called out to him and he's been into it ever since. It's much easier than color theory, at least he thinks so.
SocializingIt's pretty easy for him to get along with others. He's very helpful and and good at making small talk with his neighbors. Sometimes a few of the older ladies or merchants he deals with give him free stuff to take home. With his fishing buddies he's more open and talkative (and also able to be in comfortable silence with them too).
Though it helps that barely anyone knows that he is gay, he's scared to find out how they'd be if they knew ;;
History
Dmitrios grew up in a small Greek town right on the sea with his mother. He knew little of his father since he disappeared from their family when Dmitrios was young; one day he went on a fishing trip and never came back. It probably wasn't on purpose, he may have gone out too far and got lost.... or worse. But the fact remains that they haven't heard from him again. In his place, Dmitrios's adventurous uncle visits them more often, so they wouldn't feel too lonely. Dmitrios loves listening to the stories his uncle tells him of places in faraway lands and what he does, and also of stories from his past, some including his father before settling down (this uncle and Dmitrios's father were brothers).
Along with attending regular school, Dmitrios also likes going to a recreational center and creating art. He was not much of a painter and figuring out how color theory worked didn’t suit him, so at first he was content with charcoal drawing. But when he was finally introduced to clay and stone carving, he took it up with great interest and enjoyed watching his creation come to life. It was very satisfying to see something tangible! As he grew older, when he was not down by the docks or being near his fishing equipment anywhere else, he’d be at the art school in his free time.
Dmitrios works as a fisherman with some others to catch fish to sell and try to make life more comfortable for his mom. They were neither very rich nor poor; they did get on fairly well. But like his father and uncle, Dmitrios has an adventurous spirit, and his mom noticed this too. Rather than try to keep him too close, she instead encourages him to go exploring too. Dmitrios is reluctant but grateful for the support, but for the longest time doesn't try to go out very far. Eventually he gets the push he needed to finally go out in the world, and he's very grateful his mom really is okay with it and that he really didn't need to worry about her so much. Starting out, he'd be away for a few days at a time, bringing back some new things. He'd work on the fishing boat in between adventures to build up some money again. The adventures panned out further and he stays out longer, but he's having a great time seeing and experiencing new things.

Trivia
- Dmitrios vaguely remembers being on a fishing boat with an older man and this was the basis/ beginning of his fishing knowledge. The man was his father, but Dmitrios himself can't remember exactly who the man was. He was a young child when he disapperared
- Painting has frustrated him, especially color theory and blending, so he admires others who can paint really well.
- He seems like the type to like cats.
- Only his uncle and a certain friend know that he likes men (idk how to write this in the history section yet but i'll mention it here! certain friend is neither vax nor mylani btw). Mylani would find this out by accident during their story, Vax wouldn't know until much later too
- He has a secret fishing spot that he likes to go to. It's quiet and pretty.
- He also like finding other places to go fish or just to walk through. Sometimes his little expiditions would talk hours or all day.
- He's a good cook! Mainly seafood dishes (esp. fish haha)

He quickly found an interest in him when they first met, because he was curious why a guy like him would want to venture out on his own. But after numerous interactions he finds out he is his type; stubborn, independent, and fun to tease ;w;

They got along pretty well when they first met, and also throughtout knowing each other since they're both fairly easy oing and like art. They're both visual artists too, despite different mediums, so they tend to learn off each other.
Who'd thought these two would actually be related though :0
