Proton is the leader of a pokemon villain gang in his region called Team Electron. The type of pokemon his team uses are mainly electric, dark, and steel types. Proton believes electric types are the best type of pokemon there is, so his evil plot would be to create a device that would alter the pokemon to have their primary type changed to Electric. To have the sufficient amount of electric power required to do so, he would have to summon the rare electric legendary pokemon of his region, that would only appear once the other two region legendaries are gathered together, along with a certain ritual. Whether he succeeds or fails... is up to the protag ;)
Proton is usually an unexpressive kind of guy. He isn't an open person; usually keeps to himself. He's trained himself to appear as a tough and fearsome individual, but only his pokemon and his trusted executives has seen his more tender side. He's not the type to dwell on the past, at least not for very long. He may think about some things that has happened before, but he pushes it out of his mind once it's time to to focus on something else. He can get cocky but not in a show offy way, but it can show in battle through subtle confidence. If anything the most he would do is smirk and he'd have a determined or “higher than thou” look in his eyes.
Proton can be very observant when it comes to trying to achieve his goal. He knows how to conceal his presence and sneak around when he needs to. It helps him become more aware of his surroundings. When he has to present himself in front of his gang, he knows how to appear like a good, tough leader. He's sharp and quick witted. He's grown to have a demanding tone in his voice and can be a little authoritative, not the annoying kind but the kind that would make his grunts are more likely to do what he says.

Hair: He has bright yellow hair with a few large black zigzags across it. It is mid back length and tied back in a low fluffy ponytail. He has long bangs on the sides of his head as well.
Eyes: He has bright yellow eyes that match his hair
Body: He is fair skinned and has an average, half lean half toned build.
Villain outfit (bullet): He wears a black bodysuit made out of an insulated/ electric resistant material. It could be drawn as a turtleneck or as a rounded neck top. He has a black pokeball belt and he only uses Luxury balls (it matches his aesthetic but he also cares for his own pokemon). He wears black gloves, knee high golden yellow boots, and a long cape. The cape is black on the outside and a shiny metallic gold on the inside. It comes with a cape that is usually up when he's out in public.

Electrode is Proton's sigature pokemon. It is usually the last one used in battles. Electrode was Proton's first pokemon; he recieved it when it was a Voltorb and the two remained together ever since. They have a very strong bond and always have each others backs. Proton trusts his Electrode a lot and couldn't imagine a team without it. He wouldn't let his Electrode learn moves like Self-Destruct or Explosion because he doesn't want his Electrode to be overworked like that.
A pokemon one of the older grunts Proton befriended gifted to him when it was a Magnemite. He didn't want it at first because he didn't want other pokemon besides his Electrode, but at the same time since it was a gift he didn't want to refuse it either. He was reluctant with it at first but the Magnemite was somehow kinda cute so it grew on him. Proton likes the final evolution (how it is now), thinking it looks cool.
A pokemon that ended up wanting to join Proton's team. When Proton was a grunt and was out on the field he and a few others were in this old place searching for pokemon the boss wanted. Somehow a Rotom was there and started to follow Proton around. Proton was annoyed by it lol. One of the other grunts who Proton befriended was watching Pronton being chased by the Rotom in amusement. The friend told Proton to catch it and keep it, since it seemed to like him so much, but also it sees pretty rare. Proton ended up doing so, and kept it secret from the others a long time until he becomes the boss.

Proton grew up in a small town in his region, similar to the starting town in a main Pokemon game. The town had few houses and few inhabitants; it was a quiet, peaceful town near the edge of a forest. Proton lived with his dad Juleon. Next door to him lives his childhood friend August and his dad Shio. Shio and Juleon were friends. August's home was jointed with a pokemon lab since Shio is the region's pokemon professor.
Proton's dad is the CEO / Owner of a power plant in the region's major city, so he was always busy with work. On the weekends though he dedicated his time to Proton. Proton liked playing with his dad's pokemon, and his love for electric types started from there. Proton's first pokemon was a Voltorb, gifted to him by his dad. It... isn't the safest pokemon for a child to handle but Proton took very good care of it, despite the number of shocks he'd receive.
As a child, Proton had a more outgoing personality; he and his Voltorb were similar in that they were both adventurous, quick to irritate, and often were playing on their own (or with just August and his own pokemon at the time, an Eevee). Proton had an active imagination and would usually take the lead in his roleplays. However when some things don't go his way, he'd get irritated and try to seize back control into how he likes things. If he gets embarrassed about something he tended to hide away or ignore the situation. Not many of the other kids wanted to play with Voltorb since they didn't want to get accidentally shocked, so Proton was often isolated from them. Although it did affect him, he tried to not let it get to him, even declaring to himself that his pokemon was the best of them all. He's very grateful to have August stay with him though; at least he had one friend.
As a child, Proton wasn't a great pokemon battler, so many of them resulted in his loss. He hated losing, but he wasn't a sore loser; he would feel discouraged at first but he'd try his best to try and win the next time. He had strong nerves and would not give up easily. However, more than losing, he despised being teased about being a loser.
One day, one of the older kids who tended to pick on him started making fun of his Voltorb and was calling it names. Proton, who was getting angrier by the minute, challenged the kid to a battle and prove how strong his Voltorb was. However, due to Proton's incapability to battle well, he ended up losing and the kid tormented him more. Proton was just about ready to physically fight the kid when his friend August ran up and held him back. Proton shook out of his friend's grasp and decided to dash the opposite way, running into the forest with his Voltorb rolling behind him.
Proton found a tree trunk and sat down on it in a huff. He was crying as he ran and now he was trying to calm himself down. While wiping his angry tears, he hugged his Voltorb and tried to comfort it. The Voltorb understood what Proton was trying to do and made little sparks to show its appreciation.
Suddenly Proton heard a rustling sound from some bushes nearby. He sat up straighter in the trunk and tried to quiet his breathing. He listened some more to see where the sound came from. His Voltorb noticed the sound as well, and was charging itself up to attack if needed. Out popped some evil team grunts with pokemon catching gear. Proton saw the grunts and tried to run, but his motions made noise loud enough for the grunts to hear, and they all turned towards his direction. They saw Proton trying to escape and thought this kid would run back to his village and alert everyone, so to prevent that from happening, they rushed after him. They were all older and faster so they caught up to Proton quick and grabbed him. Other grunts threw a shock proof netting over the Voltorb, rendering it useless. Proton struggled to free himself from one grunt's grasp but the hold on him was too tight. He tried yelling for help but he was too far from the village for anyone to hear. The forest was strangely quiet save for the sounds of this struggle. The grunts dragged Proton to their vehicle and tied him down, and they drove off to where a helicopter was hidden away, and the grunts transferred to there, then took off to their base up in the mountain area.
Proton lived in the team base since he was first brought there. He hated it at first, which was understandable since he was brought there against his will, and there was no chance to escape, being to high up in the mountain range and having good security measures. Proton made it a hard time for him to adjust being there. However, when he realized that he couldn't leave, he decided to switch his attitude and attempt to adapt tot he place. He thought later on he'll be able to free himself if he were good enough.
He didn't socialize with anyone that much, save for one grunt who was part of the team that brought him there int he first place, but since then held a small soft spot for Proton. He decided to become his guardian of sorts and taught Proton the ways of the team, as well as how to be a better pokemon battler. Proton was of course skeptical of this grunt at first, but eventually warmed up to him back, and it felt good, having someone to talk to. His advice deemed useful and with time Proton could see his improvement with battling and doing small jobs within the team base.
The team used a mixture of dark, steel, rock, and electric type pokemon, but Proton opted to solely use electric types, or half electric, half some other type; in short he just wanted a main element of electric on his team. It stemmed from his father's love for electric types and this was a trait that was passed down to him. Proton and his grunt friend learned the way electric type moves were used and which combos proved effective in battle. However his battling style is biased, favoring moves that were on the offensive instead of having a mix of that and defense. He liked the power he felt from defeating his enemies quickly with strong moves. He made sure to properly care for his own pokemon once they were done with training and battling, paying special attention to his favorite Voltorb, and later on, Electrode when it evolved.
At the time, the leader of the evil team was a greedy ruthless man, yet he did not make good use of the resources and they were wasted often, thus having the grunts to extra work to replenish supplies and whatnot. He had them go out in units to do various tasks, from gathering supplies, to searching for Pokemon to steal in the region, to bothering establishments in different cities and towns. Proton never seemed to like him, but as he grew older he ended up despising the leader more and more, not due to his ruthlessness, but more so to his carelessness. The way he conducts his business irked him. Said team leader would also have a short temper at times, snapping at his grunts and executives over the little things he would nitpick at. He also had an overactive imagination, always coming up with grand plans that seemed wonderful but also unrealistic, for many were not based on anything concrete and just seemed like dreams to him. Proton did not approve of going along with the boss's plans anymore, instead he had a couple ideas of his own brewing in his head.
One day when Proton got an idea sorted out in his head that he believed would improve the team and give benefit to it, he went to the boss to tell him his plan. However the boss shut him down halfway though his speech, saying that Proton was too young to worry about such matters and just do what he is told to do as a grunt. Proton got angry for bring interrupted and ignored, but he kept himself in check. It was no use blowing up in front of the boss there, considering that there would be harsh consequences if he did, so he turned around and stormed off into the hallway. His grunt friend, who had supported him though this, was worried at first but was also impressed at how Proton handed his emotions, or which then soon to become his lack of emotion shown on his face.
The boss may have not appreciated his ideas, but someone else who just happened to hear their conversation did. One of the boss's executives was off to the side at the same time Proton was explaining himself, and had followed Proton back to his room to speak with him further. Proton was surprised at first but quickly invited the exec inside for them to speak in private. Proton discussed his ideas with the exec and threw out a few more points about what's to come later on if things went well. The exec was intrigued at the level of complexity Proton's plans were, and how well thought out they were. The exec made a secret agreement with Proton to cooperate with him for the next idea Proton had in mind, which was to dethrone the current boss and take his place to execute his ideas.
Proton decided to make a more conscious effort to get along with the other grunts to help carry out his plan. He did this gradually so to not arouse nay suspicion of any sudden friendliness that was uncharacteristic to him. He helped out with mechanical tasks, since by living in the base for so ling Proton leaned how to fix and deal with the machinery, and it was one of the few tasks he rather enjoyed. He also discussed science and technology with some of the grunts who could carry on a conversation like this, and the grunts soon discovered that Proton was a smart guy who knows what he's doing .They often called on him to help with the more technical tasks and got to know him a little better, or at least to the extent Proton was willing to present.
Proton gets to have tasks that involve going outside and was able to have more free time for himself. During the free times he decided to take on the challenge to collect all eight gym badges and move on to the elite four. It took a good few months but he was a skilled enough battler now to defeat everyone and the champion. When the grunts back at the base found out about this, they all held a higher respect for Proton and admired his strength, while few others envied him. Many grunts thought that Proton was in the running to become a next executive. The boss caught wind of Proton's achievements and started to become intimidated by him. Proton was barely an adult yet but managed to become very strong in a short amount of time, why wouldn't the boss be intimidated? He begins to suspect that his position is in danger.
Proton knew that the boss was giving him a harder time in the team, but he also began to see the nervousness he was trying to hide. This was a good thing for Proton, for it shows that the boss is starting to crack. Proton had the feeling that the boss knew he couldn't just kick Proton off the team abruptly, or else the grunts who favored him would retaliate. Proton couldn't help but feel a little cocky, knowing his growing presence is becoming a threat to the boss, but he knew he couldn't be satisfied yet. Proton decided to train more, pushing his strength and techniques to the max against the other grunts and few executives willing to battle with him. Proton was indeed very strong now, that many of his opponents couldn't stand a chance. The grunts loved watching him battle, and many asked for Proton to train them, which he complied to. Proton constantly went outside to find other trainers to battle, even going ot battle the elite four and the champion all over again. The boss notices Proton leaving a lot, and decided to pin a convincing (yet baseless) accusation on him to try and scare him and the team.
Unfortunately for the boss, Proton foresaw this development, and with a skillful turning of the tides, pushed the blame back on the boss. He then challenged him to a Pokemon battle, risking both their positions as the bet. If Proton won, he would become leader of the team and the boss would be banished from it; if the boss won, Proton would be detained as a prisoner of the team forever. The boss was strong, but Proton was stronger, and he gained an easy victory. The grunts cheered at his win, and Proton claims his new title as leader. The grunts collectively pushed their former boss out of the base and made sure that he would never step foot in the base again.
From then on Proton proved to be an effective leader for h team, putting his ideas to use. It was a different approach to things that the grunts weren't used to at first, but they saw the surplus of benefits the team was gaining, and was satisfied with that .Proton promoted his favorite grunt to an executive, and kept the next executive who liked his plans as well, and he took on two more grunts who were great scientists and companions to him as execs too. Once he had a solid exec team he could trust, and he won over the grunts, he can put his grand plan into action, finally.
Proton plans to create a device that would alter the DNA of pokemon to chainge their primary type to electric. There would be a button to press and he'll need control of a very strong electromagnetic pulse that gets to the microscopic level. He would find a way to take over the power plant as one of the steps he has to take. He'll do so without causing physical harm to the CEO of said power plant, since the CEO is his dad. It'll be quite a shock to meet him again but he'll have to set that aside to fulfil his goal.
However only one thing in the region would be able to have the right amount of electricity needed for his plan to suceed, and that would e to summon the legendary electric and psychic type pokemon. It is not known if such a pokemon exists since it is usually told in legends and myths. To summon said legendary, one would have to have the other two legendary pokemon in their possession, and then have them in an area with the highest source of electromagnetic energy. Then, the latter two legendaries would have to both use their special attack at the same time against each other, causing a very high amount of energy to be condensed into one spot. The effect of the attacks against each other would cause the sky to become dark and cloudy no matter the previous weather, and then a huge lightning bolt would spring right above the area and strike wher the attacks hit, and then the legendary electric/psychic type pokemon shall appear. It is usually never done because the amount of energy it seems to take is at dangerously high levels. Proton takes his into account and creates special protective gear to shield him and the others who wear it from the energies.
If his plan succeeds, the pokemon from all over the region would be subjected to the shocking pulse, and slowly they would have their primary type changed to Electric. Their moves would be altered to the closest Electric type move there is that is similar enough (ex: Something like Signal beam would be changed to Charge Beam).
- Proton wears his hood up when out in public with his strongest or most ambitious team of grunts. He doesn't want anyone to notice him, especially if he goes into the main city.
